This twin-tube front strut utilizes a nitrogen gas charge pressurized to 150 psi to give you near-immediate damping on the trails without compromising on-road riding comfort. This strut also features an internal polyurethane rebound bumper that dampens the piston internally when bottoming out, further reducing harshness. These factors make this component the perfect choice for the daily driven truck that also sees lots of time off-road.
Rigid Build Quality. This strut features a 2.25-inch shock body constructed from high-grade alloy for exceptional strength and efficient heat dissipation, ensuring reliable performance. Additionally, its piston rod measures 16 mm and is built from nitro-carburized steel, making it tough enough for the trails. Meanwhile, its bushings are made from high-quality rubber and also help reduce vibrations. Finally, this front strut receives a silver-gray liquid metallic finish for ideal protection against corrosion.
Professional Installation Recommended. You will need to use a strut compressor to install this front strut. Since improper use of this tool can result in injury, professional installation is recommended.
