Description
Excellent Damping for the Road and Trails. The Rancho RS5000X Front Strut for Stock Height is the ideal strut upgrade for stock height F-150s that sees action on the trails as well as on the highway. This shock features a twin-tube design and uses pressurized nitrogen gas charge to deliver near-instantaneous damping when off-roading and a smooth ride on the highway. Additionally, this component features an internal polyurethane rebound bumper designed to absorb shock whenever the strut bottoms out. The result is reduced harshness when going over potholes or uneven terrain.
Hefty Build Quality. This strut utilizes a 2.25-inch shock body that’s machine-formed from high-grade alloy. This construction provides ideal strength and efficient heat dissipation for more reliable performance. Similarly, its 16 mm piston rod is constructed from nitro-carburized steel for exceptional resistance to damage, especially during off-roading. This strut also features high-quality rubber bushings that do a great job of reducing unwanted vibrations. Rounding out its construction is a silver-gray liquid metallic finish that offers superior rust protection.
Professional Installation Recommended. This front strut installs using a strut compressor. Considering improper use of this tool can result in injury, professional installation is recommended.
