This assembly combines a full-width front bumper with a standard grille guard. This design provides your front with complete protection from the fascia and grille to its headlights against all manner of road and trail hazards. Meanwhile, its built-in winch plate is compatible with most recovery winches, making you ready for any eventuality when out on the trails. Additionally, this assembly will work with your front emblem camera and adaptive cruise control function if so equipped. This way you’re able to get the full benefits out of these useful features.
Mounting Ports for Your Factory Fog Lights. This front bumper assembly also includes mounting ports, enabling you to reuse your factory fog lights. What’s more, these mounting ports keep your fog lights recessed, keeping them safe from impact damage.
Heavy-Duty Build Quality. This front bumper assembly utilizes a heavy-duty schedule 4 steel pipe and diamond-plate steel panels in its construction. These elements are then machine-cut and formed before getting expertly welded to create an extremely strong structure. Meanwhile, the grille guard is made from a combination of high-quality steel tubes and heavy gauge steel plates before getting likewise welded onto the main bumper. Finally, the whole assembly receives a two-stage black powder coat finish, providing exceptional corrosion protection and rugged good looks.

Love this solid bumper
This bumper is definitely solid and looks good. The only problem having is the parking sensors aren’t working properly with it working on contacting the manufacturer about it now.

Great bumper poor QC from manufacturer
The bumper was shipped using truck freight. The company selected for the shipping had horrible customer service for delivery. Ended up picking up at their depot. It was very well packaged. The bumper was supposed to be a direct fit for factory proximity sensors. Uh big no! 2 of the 6 worked well but the other 4 were not compatible with the sensors. Had to cut off and use JB weld to hold plastic sleeves in place. Additionally, the fog lights were also supposed to be a direct fit. Again big NO! They were welded in-place in the wrong spot and the light would not line up per the installed mounts. Had to cut them off as well and re-drill new holes and use zip ties to hold the light in place. I would have sent the bumper back but the freight company was not willing to come to my house to pick it up so I was stuck with this very heavy bumper. I was able to get my American Ingenuity to work and function finally and then the bumper installed pretty easily with the a motorcycle jack I have. On a positive note, American Trucks did right by me and made things right. I would buy from them again.

The way the fender moldings fit perfectly inside of the bumper without having to cut the bumper or fenders was amazing. Also, very nice and solid!

Heavy Duty Dodge Ram Frt Bumper 2017
upon receipt, the bumper appeared to be packaged really well. upon unpacking there was a large scratch on passenger side through the powdercoating and down to metal, about 3" long and 1/2" wide. American gave me credit towards my next purchase or ship it back. took the credit. Fit the bumper itself fit well to the truck, the front sensors though do not fit the method they provided and could not transfer them over which was why i ordered the bumper with the sensors holes, no way i could get the "set screws" in the available openings on some of the placements. other holes were so big that the senor had a large gap around the diameter, poor appearance. so i decided to put the supplied rubber plugs in the holes since i wasnt going to use the sensors and they just fell out the holes were so big. the factory fog lights fit in the brackets supplied with some bending/tweaking to match the holes. but do not align to the openings in the bumper, so only get about 50% of the light out. Quality see above for some of the issues. Hardware worked as far as the items i used. broke one of the welded mounts for the sensors as i installed it, not a good weld apparently Appearance appearance not counting the huge scratch down to metal was good. not a fan that the air intake for the intercooler is blocked by the license plate mount location. Installation for a diesel, you need to loosen the intercooler in order to get it out of the way enough so that the double bolt brackets can be removed. you will have to cut the double bolts off to remove. getting the hardware loosened up enough or removed out of the way took a very long time as they are not easy to get to. overall, disappointed in the final 10% of the bumper. rest of it was ok.

Minor issues was all.
Overall easy to install until you add a winch. It REALLY didn't like the Badlands brand winch with us having to take apart the control box and put it back together after the bumper was fully installed. That and it didn't like my aftermarket fog lights so the junkyard it will be. Otherwise I love the look and utility of it. Install without the winch would have only been a couple of hours. With it, it was most of the day with frequent breaks here in the Florida summer.

Looks good.
I purchased a Steelcraft HD replacement rear bumper for my 2020 Ram 1500. The item arrived with some minor damaged which caused us some extra work, it's not perfect but it turned out fine. The installation was pretty basic with the hardest part being the removal of the old factory bumper. If you have a basic mechanical aptitude, an assortment of simple tools and an extra set of hands, you can do this job in a few hours. All in all, I'm happy with the product.
