Description
Replacement Lighting And Switch Kit. With this Backup/Auxiliary Lighting and Switch Kit, you can replace the wiring and switch that activates your auxiliary lights. The switch allows you to easily activate rear auxiliary lights from inside your vehicle. That means no struggling in the dark when hooking up trailers anymore.
Simple And Solid Construction. The simple black plastic switch provided with this kit is sturdy enough to handle repeated use. It also installs easily and is designed to offer a perfect fit. The wiring for the kit is encased in a flexible black housing, which prevents the wires from getting tangled or damaged.
Direct Installation. This Backup/Auxiliary Lighting and Switch Kit provide a straightforward installation as it does not require you to cut any of your vehicle’s existing wires. Instead, it plugs directly into your battery for a direct installation. This method also means you can use your auxiliary lights without starting your vehicle.
Five Years Of Cover. The manufacturer backs this kit with a 5-year limited warranty against manufacturing and material defects. This warranty does not apply in cases of misuse, neglect, or abuse of the kit.
Application. The Backup/Auxiliary Lighting and Switch Kit is designed for universal fitment into any vehicle. It’s compatible with Deutsch DT Series 2-Way connectors, though pigtail connectors are also available and sold separately.
Installation Difficulty. Moderate mechanical skills are needed due to the minor wiring work required for installation. You should be able to install the switch and kit using the provided hardware in 1-2 hours.
