PLEASE TRY INSTALLING OUR WAY FIRST!

1. Begin by placing the vehicle on a lift or four jack stands at their inaximum height. To help your installation it is best to pre-fit all the components into a complete system on your garage floor using the diagram provided.

2. Remove the existing system by unbolting the mid-pipe. Remove the tailpipe from the insulator and the entire unit can be re-moved as one. Depending on the working conditions you may need to make other cuts to remove the system. Make sure you retain the rubber insulators because they Nill be reused.

3. Begin your installation by reinstalling the factory rubber isolators onto the wire forms near muffler and factory tailpipe locations. Next, install the HVH6OR to HVH60 hanger and mount the assembly using the supplied hardware to the large hole in the rear left side frame rail. The HVH60 opening should face the outside of the vehicle.

4. Next, install the TFT19R tailpipe on the passenger side one of the HVH17S hang- ,
er clamps. Next, install the TFT19LR then the TFT1OLA using one of the HVC50 clamps--1-4,;;, and two of the HVH17S hanger clamps. Do not tighten clamp at this time.

5. Loosely install the MVV70 muffler and MFT25 mid-pipe by bolting it to the factory Y-Pipe flange so you can make your final cut making sure you leave enough material to compensate for the slip fit connections. Remember measure five times and cut once.
Note: We have included PVM51 as extra pipe increase the mid-pipe length but may not be needed.

6. Now you can permanently install the muffler and mid-pipe using the HVC53 U-Clamp for the mid-pipe to muffler connection and two HVC50 U-clamps for the muffler to tailpipe connections.

7. Next, install the two PVT10 tail pipe extensions using two HVC50 u-clamps as well as the EVT51B tips using the two HVC21 band clamps.

8. Finish the system by making all your final adjustment to the muffler, tailpipes and tips. Once you are satisfied with the align-ment finish tightening all the clamps. The use of air tools for this step is highly recommended. Next, start your vehicle and check for leaks. All clamps should be checked within the first 100 miles of driving and retightened as necessary.

Note: Pypes Performance Exhaust Cat-Back systems are designed to fit stock height vehicles with OEM hitches and spare tire combos. Vehicles with aftermarket components such as larger trailer hitches and spare tires or ride height changes may require modifi-cations to the system for proper fit.

Now it's time to fire up that truck and enjoy your new Pypes Performance Exhaust.
