How to Install Putco Chrome Mirror Covers for Towing Mirrors with Side Markers on your F-150

Please read all instructions before installation and to check to see that all parts are included.

Note: Mirror has been removed from the vehicle for demonstration purposes only and is not required for installation.

1. Clean and dry the vehicle thoroughly.

2. The vehicle surface temperature must be a minimum of 15°C (60°F).

3. Dry fit backside cover onto mirror to verify installation method. DO NOT peel release liner on 3M tape at this time.

4. Repeat Step 1 with the front side cover. Both covers should have a thin uniform gap where the two come together. Remove both covers and set aside.

5. Wipe down entire towing mirror surface (front and back) with rubbing alcohol. Figure 1.

6. Starting with the backside cover, peal the release liner from all the 3M tape locations. (6 strips total). Figure 2

7. Carefully Slide the cover onto the mirror with the method used during step 3. Figure 3

8. When aligned, press and hold in position for 30 seconds to ensure proper adhesion.

9. Next Peal the release liner from all the strips of 3M tape on the front side cover. Figure 4

10. Carefully Slide the cover onto the mirror with the method used during step 3. Figure 5

11. When aligned, press and hold in position for 30 seconds around the perimeter of the cover to ensure proper adhesion.

12. Repeat Steps 3-11 for the remaining side. Enjoy!!
