      Description

      When undertaking 4X4 remote area travel, the need to carry sufficient fuel, water, vehicle spares and safety equipment invariably means that your 4WD will be fully loaded, placing a lot of strain on suspension components. As part of their integrated 4WD suspension systems, Old Man Emu designs a range of coil springs for each vehicle, enabling the installer to match the most appropriate springs to the intended application. While ride height increases are attained, emphasis is placed on ride control improvements. Further fine tuning is achieved when the springs are matched to a corresponding set of Old Man Emu shock absorbers, delivering a fully integrated system designed specifically to suit your vehicle.

      Makes Install Easy

      This is a huge time saver because you don’t need to drop the fuel tank. Just cut the old bolt and thread this one in the opposite way!

      Good High Quality Springs

      Good thick high quality springs. The factory spring is 18.5 inches tall while the Old Man Emu spring is 20 inches tall. The extra height combined with the thicker stiffness of the spring raises the rear of the truck (2018 Ram 1500 4X4) approximately 3.5 to 4 inches, not the 1.5 to 1.75 inches as advertised. This doesn't include the TRX or Rabel as the are higher in the rear from stock. If your looking to raise your Ram rear height 3.5 to 4 inches these springs are great. I returned the spring as I only want 1.5 to 2 inches increase height with more load bearing capacity. The return process with AmericanTrucks company went very smoothly. Also you will need to disconnect your rear sway bar links and use spring compressors to get them in, but very doable.

      No instructions, but a bargain price for what they deliver

      It does not come with installation instructions, so you are on your own. However, they only fit on one direction. Also, they do not fit flat against he existing spring stack. This appears to be by design, but it doesn't look normal. With all that said, they definitely gave me the ride improvement I was looking for.

      Spring Break

      These springs lifted my 2023 ford ranger 2 inches the quality of the spring is awesome and I truly feel the ride is better than the factory holds a load up much better than the factory springs. OME I'm glad I made the choice to purchase these springs.

      Coil springs

      These coil springs definitely are heavy duty, took me about 2-3 hours to install cause their so much taller I had to use a coil spring compressor. I got them installed and it lifted my rear so much I was nose diving bad, So I ended up taking my lift kit off the rear just for it to set level. Definitely helps with towing! But will cause nose diving forsure on stocked or lifted trucks
