      Description

      Superior Performance. Increase the power of your Silverado 1500 by installing a Motive Performance 3.73 Front Ring Gear and Pinion set. This smart modification enables your vehicle to withstand high torque and power, and facilitates positive power transmission at any angle without slips. Preloaded bearings help resist wear and tear of the gears for an upgrade that is sure to last.

      Tough Construction. Each Motive Performance IFS Front Ring and Pinion Gear set undergoes a stringent quality assurance process using state-of-the-art manufacturing methods. This set of gears are constructed using high-strength 8620 steel that are CNC-cut and heat-treated. Factory lap finish enhances performance and durability of the ring and pinion gear set.

      Recommended Upgrade. Please note that when you change the gear ratio of your Silverado 1500's differential, the calibration of your speedometer will no longer be accurate and will display an incorrect speed. In order to fix this problem, you need a Handheld Tuner (sold separately).

      Professional Installation Recommended. Installing the Motive Performance 3.73 Gear Ring and Pinion can be tricky, which is why it's advisable to seek the help of a professional. For best results, follow the included instructions.

      2 Year Manufacturer's Warranty. Motive Gear highly believes in the premium quality of their products that they offer warranty for a period of 2 Years or 100,000 miles against defects from material and workmanship. Some exclusions may apply. Refer to the manufacturer's warranty.

      Application. Motive Performance 3.73 Ratio IFS Front Ring Gear and Pinion Kit fits any 2007 to 2013 Silverado 1500 models that are equipped with an 8.5" or 8.6" (10 bolt) independent front suspension differential. A master bearing kit is highly recommended by most installers, especially for vehicles with high mileage.

      Please Note. If you don't have any information on your Silverado 1500 differentials, please consult your local General Motors dealer to determine what gear is in your truck.

      Technical Note. Costs for installing ring and pinion gears may vary. Make sure you work with a trusty and reliable shop for installations.
