Re-Gear To Enhance Performance. Don’t struggle along with your OEM ring and pinion sets after installing larger tires. Re-gearing allows you to enjoy all of your vehicle’s power benefits without worrying about the higher fuel consumption that larger tires create.
Built For The Trail. Using heat-treated 8620 steel, Motive Gear ensures these rings and pinions can handle the constant grind they’ll face as you drive. Your axles will turn smoothly for years as these parts are so tough that they won’t wear down as quickly as standard steel.
Complex Installation. Installing ring and pinion kits is a complex process that requires extensive knowledge of your vehicle. Professional installation is recommended in most circumstances.
Covered For 1 Year Or 50,000 Miles. Motive Gear’s warranty covers you for either 1 year or 50,000 miles. You get protection against factory defects, though the warranty doesn’t extend to damage caused by misuse, accidents, or misapplication.
Application. The Motive Gear 8.80-Inch Front and 8.80-Inch Rear Axle Complete Ring and Pinion Gear Kit is designed for use with Ford F-150 4WD models made between 1997-2009.
Application Note. These ring and pinion kits are compatible with the Ford 8.8 or Ford 8.8 IFS carrier.
