Improved Performance. Is your stock intercooler kit not giving you the power you want? Then it’s time to get this Polished Mishimoto Cold-Side Intercooler Pipe Kit installed in your 2015-2016 3.5L Ford F-150 EcoBoost. This intercooler kit features larger cold-side pipes and silicone boots with DuraCore designed to greatly improve the air flow. The boots and pipes are held in place by constant-tension worm-gear clamps. This improved airflow translates to better throttle response, which results in increased torque and horsepower.
Solid Aluminum Construction. The pipes that come with this Mishimoto Cold-Side Intercooler Pipe Kit features a solid aluminum construction designed for added durability and increased resistance to daily wear and tear. The silicone boots feature the unique DuraCore technology designed to protect them from oil, pressure, and heat. Topping this off is a sleek and cool polished finish that also protects the pipes from rust and corrosion.
Simple Installation. This Mishimoto Cold-Side Intercooler Pipe Kit features a CNC quick disconnect for a quick and easy installation. No drilling is required unless you plan to add more ports.

Very simple piece of equipment.
Bought this for my 2015 3.5L. I bought this because I plan on tuning my truck. If I did not plan on tuning my truck this would not be a necessary purchase. I’d say the first thing to tackle would be the intercooler over hot/cold pipes. I’ve replaced my intercooler and that unit is tiny for this truck (only if you want max performance, does not influence daily driving). I have a 6” Lift on my truck so of course everything else has to work a little bit harder from the jump. Have the 6” Lift makes this an any easy install due to the lift. There should be some videos online for install. Basic tools get it done. The couplers go right on, no lubricants needed. Mishimotos Clamps are great, love the constant tension clamps over all my OEM clamps. Did I “feel” any HP/Torque gains? No, to be expected though. This pipe is built to help the unit breathe better. Like I said this is a great piece for max performance (speed/towing).

Higher quality and larger pipes
I bought the hot and cold air pipes from mishimoto as a kit but ill just mention the cold pipes here. It fit perfectly to a Mishimoto intercooler and comes with all the needed couplers and clamps. There's no need to drop the intercooler down and this exchange can happen over about an hour. Another reviewer mentioned different advice and your mileage may vary, but I recommend either putting some lubricant on the new quick connect o-ring or just swapping the aftermarket o-ring with the OEM one that's in the factory charge pipe (since it's already lubed).

Quality built
The Mishimoto cold pipe is much nicer than alternatives because the intercooler connection does not reuse any of the stock pieces. It looks great and my throttle response felt better to me. Ordering the hotside pipes now! Install took a little over an hour.

Disaster but done
This kit will not work with the original Turbosmart blow off valve kit. So I had to reinstall the stock bypass valve system, which really stinks sonce I'm tuned and the OE setup will likely struggle. I know its difficult to test all combinations but Turbosmart was the first and best of any blow-off valve kits so it seems sort of a big question. Needless to say the piping did not stay pristine from having to be removed and reinstalled. The t-bolt clamp for the largest side of the transition hose, large to small diameter, was too small to use the spring. In fact I was barely able to squeeze the clamp enough to be able to use it and complete the install. Seems like the size etched on the clamps was wrong or the wrong size clamp was etched with the right size info. The same occured with the clamps at the throttle body couldn't use the springs. Don't get me started at the near impossibility of installing the upper section to the lower section and getting the sections to mate. There is a reason why the stock pipe is one piece. The having two pieces makes alignment and connection a very different task. There was a company many years ago called ICEMAN intakes that used to make roto molded piping. This would be a perfect solution to improving the pipe shapes and keep everything one piece not to mention less chance of scratching the outside of the pipes. The same could be said of the hot side kits. I will not be buying the a hotside kit just because of these issues.
