It also features a high-flow level design that doesn’t affect engine codes in your Silverado, thus completely getting rid of that annoying check engine light. When used in conjunction with Kooks Long Tube Headers, you’re engine is sure to benefit from an increased and unrestricted exhaust flow. 

      Superior Build. This Green Catted Y-Pipe is designed to match rigorous industry quality standards. It features a 16-gauge stainless steel build that’s crafted using state-of-the-art technology, thus ensuring material strength and rigidity. This Y-pipe assembly can withstand exhaust temperature of up to 1500°F so you won’t have to worry about exposure to high-temp conditions.

      OEM Fit Replacement. You can use your Silverado’s OEM pipe outlet when installing this Green Catted Y-Pipe. Installation can be done in an hour and requires basic to intermediate mechanical skills.

      Protected by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Kooks gives a limited lifetime warranty for all its header and exhaust products. This warranty coverage will include repair or replacement of products that are found to have faulty materials or substandard craftsmanship.       Certification. The Kooks 3-Inch Green Catted Y-Pipe is compliant with the EPA’s emission testing standards. However, this pipe does not have CARB certification and is therefore not legal for sale or use on any vehicle registered in California.

      Application. Kooks 3-Inch Green Catted Y-Pipe is designed to fit 1999-2006 4.8L and 5.3L Chevrolet Silverado 1500 models that are equipped with Kooks Long Tube Headers.
