Excellent Reusable Oiled Filter. The K&N Series 77 High Flow Performance Cold Air Intake has a very large filter element at 9” tall, which is made from oiled cotton gauze. Aluminum mesh is used to strengthen this fabric, and has epoxy covering it. This makes a durable long-time filter that can stand up to heavy use for years. Washable and reusable, it doesn't need its first washing until around 100K miles.

Built for the Long Haul. The eye-catching aluminum tube of the K&N Series 77 High Flow Performance Cold Air Intake is highly polished for aesthetic reasons, but the choice of metal also makes this component rust-proof. The air box is built out of steel finished in black powder-coat. An EPDM foam “weatherstrip” style seal fits around the outside of this box to create a tighter barrier against engine heat. The component is made in the USA and includes 9 stainless steel clamps.

Fits the OE MAF. The OEM mass airflow (MAF) moves directly over to the K&N Series 77 High Flow Performance Cold Air Intake, which features an appropriately sized MAF housing. Attachments for necessary vent hoses are also included.

Installs Readily without Drilling. Installing the K&N Series 77 High Flow Performance Cold Air Intake is a straightforward matter of bolting it onto existing mounting points. No drilling is needed to do so. Instructions and a set of hardware is included with the component.
