Effective CAI for An Engine Upgrade. Giving your truck a more athletic, deep-breathing engine performance, the K&N Series 77 High Flow Performance Cold Air Intake does double duty as an engine “dress-up” part with its gleaming polished intake tube. Since it’s made of aluminum, that tube won’t get dimmed by rust or corrosion, either, but with a little care will continue to offer some shining metallic “eye candy” under the hood. Not just another pretty face, though, the Series 77 CAI delivers a serious bump to performance in the form of +13.5 ft-lbs of torque and +9.6 horsepower.

Works fine with Stock Tuning. A tune-free part, the K&N Series 77 High Flow Performance Cold Air Intake will run at its expected boost with the stock tune on your F-150’s ECU. Addition of a performance tune may cause a slight increase of performance above the dyno tested results but is in no way necessary to running this CAI.

Oiled High Inflow Filter. The filter of the K&N Series 77 High Flow Performance Cold Air Intake has a conical shape, and is made from oiled cotton gauze fabric. The extra stickiness of K&N oil makes this filter exceptionally good at clearing the intake air of particulate contamination. Operating for up to 100,000 miles before it first needs servicing, the filter is washable and reusable (following re-oiling).

Strongly Built Intake from an American Company. USA-made, the K&N Series 77 High Flow Performance Cold Air Intake is designed for both robustness and good looks. The heat shield is fabricated from precision formed plate steel, with a black powder-coat finish for rust-proofing. The intake tube is designed with open, high-flowing bends that won’t constrict the inrush of cold air, and is made from quality rust-defying aluminum with a very smooth mirror polish. Eight stainless steel clamps are also part of this component.

Supports Stock MAF in Housing. The OE factory MAF can be transferred over to the MAF housing built into the K&N Series 77 High Flow Performance Cold Air Intake.

Installs Easily in Under 1.5 Hours. Installation of the K&N Series 77 High Flow Performance Cold Air Intake is a bolt-on operation unless the factory filtering mounting plate lacks a threaded hole, in which case a mounting hole will need to be drilled. The component comes with a full set of attachment hardware.

Million Mile Warranted. The K&N Series 77 High Flow Performance Cold Air Intake comes with a standard 1 million mile warranty from the manufacturer.

CARB Exempt for 50 State Driving. When installed in a 2004-2008 F-150 with a 5.4L engine, the K&N Series 77 High Flow Performance Cold Air Intake is CARB compliant and benefits from the CARB EO Number #D-269-37. The component’s CARB exemption means that you can own and use it on the streets, roads, and highways in California as well as other states or locations in the USA where CARB rules apply. It is 50-state legal.

Application. This K&N Series 77 High Flow Performance Cold Air Intake is specially designed to fit the 2004-2008 F-150s equipped with the 5.4L V8 engine.

Technical Note. The K&N Cold Air Intake is not designed for vehicles equipped with a Body Lift.
