Performance CAI for Better Power and Sound. Sized and tuned for the 5.0L Coyote engine found in 2011-2014 F-150s, the K&N Series 57 FIPK Cold Air Intake is an American-made and 50-state legal CAI that gives you real gains in power and performance across the whole RPM band. Maximum gains are approximately +12 horsepower and +12.75 ft-lbs of torque, demonstrated by rigorous dyno testing at the K&N facility. The air filter also makes the engine sound tougher and stronger, with a louder induction note, and is made to be a handsome addition to the underhood “landscape” of your truck engine.
No Additional Tune Needed. You can just pop the K&N Series 57 FIPK Cold Air Intake into your F-150’s engine and go – the stock tune enables use of the CAI at its full potential. No aftermarket tune is needed on the ECU, though the part will continue to run if you apply towing, performance, or fuel economy tunes for other purposes.
High Flow Oiled, Washable Filter. Large and conical, the air filter of the K&N Series 57 FIPK Cold Air Intake is made to complement the high-flowing intake tube and suck in lots of cold air compared to the choking factory filter. Stiffened by two layers of aluminum with epoxy coating, the filter is made up of layers of red cotton gauze. It is an oiled filter and needs no washing (generally) for 100,000 miles. Thereafter, it can be washed and reused over and over again.
Precision Polyethylene Construction. Polyethylene is used throughout the construction of the K&N Series 57 FIPK Cold Air Intake, though the clamps are stainless steel for added, rust-proof strength. Injection molded polyethylene comprises the heat shield/air box, surrounding the cotton gauze filter. The intake tube, with its sweeping bends that speed dense cool air into the engine interior, is made from cross-linked high-density polyethylene that’s shaped with a very precise roto-molding process.
MAF Housing for Factory MAF. The MAF housing of the K&N Series 57 FIPK Cold Air Intake is designed to accommodate the OEM 85mm MAF, so that additional tuning isn’t needed to run this intake in your machine.
Installs with Simple Hand Tools. Wielding nothing except a ratchet set, screwdriver, and a handful of wrenches, you can get the K&N Series 57 FIPK Cold Air Intake seated in your pickup’s engine in less than 1 ½ hours. The CAI comes with its own set of hardware but uses the existing bolt-on points for a seamless, drill-free install.
1 Million Mile Warranty. The K&N Series 57 FIPK Cold Air Intake is shielded by a full million mile limited manufacturer’s warranty.
CARB Certified for 50 State Use. K&N’s Series 57 FIPK Cold Air Intake is CARB certified and exempt, ready for installation and use on F-150s across all 50 American states, California included. It has the CARB EO Number of D-269-48, meaning it can be used off-road, on streets, roads, and highways throughout the USA. The CAI should be set up in such a way that the CARB compliance sticker is clearly to be seen by any inspecting official.
Application. The K&N Series 57 FIPK Cold Air Intake is specifically designed to fit the 2011 to 2014 F-150s equipped with the 5.0L engine.
Technical Note. The K&N Cold Air Intake is not designed for vehicles equipped with a Body Lift.
