Improves Performance and Saves Money. A good filter helps to improve engine performance by effectively removing contaminants without hindering airflow. However, most filters are able to provide one function at the cost of the other. K&N Drop-In Replacement Air Filters are notable because they can provide improved filtration and airflow. Another benefit of K&N filters is that they are designed for long service. With regular maintenance, you don’t need any further filter replacements to save you money in the long term. As a bonus, K&N’s Drop-In filter will not void your Silverado’s warranty.
Designed for Long Lasting Performance. The K&N Drop-In Replacement Air Filter is constructed from multiple layers of cotton gauze sandwiched between two epoxy-coated wire screens. The cotton gauze is coated with a specially formulated oil that captures dirt while allowing clean air to pass through. Please note that all Drop-In Replacement Filters need to be cleaned and re-oiled every 50,000 miles or depending on driving conditions.
K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty. The air filter is backed by K&N’s special Million Mile Limited Warranty. All drop-in replacement filters are designed for use on paved roads. Incorrect cleaning, installation, or non-approved use will void the warranty.
Application. The K&N Drop-In Replacement Air Filter is designed to fit all 2007 to 2018 Chevrolet Silverado models. Please selection your application from the options listed above.

Review shared from K&N Series 77 High Flow Performance Cold Air Intake (14-18 5.3L Silverado 1500)
It can breath
Product was good, pictures are deceiving. They have changed the design of the breather so one of the vent tubes is located by the mass air flow censor instead of both up by the throttle body. I think the old design looked better but nobody has updated their photos. Called k+n directly for this info. Does not affect performance

Not sure what i was expecting
But I bought it at my local advanced auto cause I didn't want to wait..took maybe an hour to hook up which I'm still not sure if it's seated right(not sure where that stupid rubber grommet sits)but whatever..this along with my awe exhaust makes it sound wicked! I'm in love..pretty sure I went through half a tank of gas in half hour from just hitting the throttle to listen to it lol

Air intake
The intake works well, looks good and is easy to install. I felt an immediate difference in power and torque, and a volume difference at high speeds.

Mixed Emotions
The first one came. I tore my truck down and was ready for instaillation.... the mass airflow sensor plate was welded on upside down. It caused the sensor to install backwards... after AT swapping it out and another week's wait the new one came... I pulled the MAF first to check it... it wouldn't slide in.... this time the plate was welded odd center and there was a flange from the piping blocking the hole. After 45 minutes of grinding on the flange with a dremel it fit... for one of the more expensive CAI around from a top name in air intake id expect better quality control. AT did try to make it right. After installing it you can tell a difference. The truck is a little more responsive. It also helped to make it sound like a beast paired with my black widow exhaust. After putting about 200 miles on it the gas mileage seems to have improved.

2024 Trail Boss
Looks great. Definitely can tell a difference compared to stock. Way better throttle response. Only issue on instas was the MAF sensor bolt holes did not line up to this intake tube. Had to drill out holes to make it mount in the correct position. Other than that. Great product.

K&N Blackhawk cold air intake
It was easy to install, the truck feels better , before it was kinda sluggish and it felt like it had a misfire. I changed the spark plugs and added new wires and still had a shake to it like it wanted to shut off… after installing this cold air intake, my truck woke up and wants to take off and the misfire is gone. I guess it needed some air ??

Review shared from K&N Series 63 AirCharger Cold Air Intake (14-18 5.3L Silverado 1500)
As advertised
Performs like it’s supposed to. Small increase in power, better throttle response, and more aggressive sound between 1500-2500 RPM before shift point. Getting about 1-2mpg increase on highway. Highly recommend if your motor seems to drag a little , this will wake it right up. Make sure you angle more forward in line with the throttle body so the hose clamp sits right.
