Description
Put a Spring in Your Truck's Step. As powerful as they look on paper, today's engines often don't feel as responsive as the numbers would suggest. That initial split-second hesitation after throttle tip-in can feel like an eternity. It can make a 420-horsepower monster seem like a pushcart under the wrong conditions. To eliminate this annoying delay JMS created their PedalMAX Electronic Throttle Enhancement Device.
Take Up the Slack with PedalMAX. Using your truck's own drive-by-wire circuitry, the JMS PedalMAX eliminates the lag. It makes your engine's power available instantaneously. It improves automatic transmission shifting, and eliminates stalling with manual transmissions. Overall, it hones your engine's response to a sharper edge. Included in this package is the JMS remote control knob, which allows you to adjust your throttle response on-the-go.
Maximum Throttle Response. Out of the box the PedalMAX Throttle Enhancer is preset to provide maximum increase in throttle response. If you find the stock setting to be to aggressive for your driving needs you can insert the supplied 4-pin RED de-sensitizing plug into the device. The RED de-sensitizing plug will reset throttle response to about 60% of the maximum setting. However, with the included Remote Throttle Control Knob you can adjust throttle response from zero to maximum or anywhere in between to match your specific driving style.
Stackable. The JMS PedalMAX can be stacked or used in conjunction with other aftermarket OBD-II programmers and monitors such as: SCT, Diablosport, Hypertech, Superchips, Bully Dog, and Edge as well as JMS' own BoostMAX Performance Booster.
Modern Electronics. The PedalMAX Drive By Wire Throttle Enhancement Device features JMS's exclusive state of the art digital technology housed in a proprietary sealed enclosure. The PedalMAX comes complete with plug and play wiring harness using OEM connectors for a quick installation.
Quick and Simple Installation. PedalMAX connects to the factory stock pedal position sensor using an OEM style connector with no permanent modifications required. There's no ECM reprogramming required and it's 50-state emissions legal. PedalMAX is 100% reversible making it warranty friendly.

JMS petal Max
Does exactly what it describes. Definitely by far the best upgrade for plug and play, I have ever felt performance wise of seat of the pants takes a minute to get used to the gas pedal. With 100% throttle response a truck with 140,000 mi on it I ran the pedal max at about 60% then at 75 for a week. Now I run it at about 80 % and it's comfortable there. Truck has zero lag. Throttle delay is totally gone. I would imagine this GMS pedal Max with a programmer would be the most power performance gains that will be noticeable without going into the engine. Install simple shipping was quick. All in all very happy

Takes the lag off as promised. Feels good gettin’ off the line. Using mine in tandem with the Diablo tuner. So far it’s working out well.

Should have bought it sooner
I have 2011 Silverado LT Z71 5.3l. Bought the truck new. Always disappointed in throttle response. It was always not enough and then with more foot pressure became too much. THIS fixed that and more. Truck became fun to drive. Instant and correct throttle response at all times, any gear. As a bonus the six speed auto trans shifts much better also! Friends who have ridden in truck before and after went out and bought one for their trucks. BUY IT!

Works as designed, super easy install and you can dial it in to your driving style. Huge difference in throttle response from stock. It will feel like you added horsepower and get you out of the hole quicker. I bought one for each one of my trucks. Thumbs up..........

WELL WORTH THE MONEY. MADE A BIG DIFFERENCE IN THROTTLE RESPONCE. TOOK THAT ANNOYING LAG OUT. I INSTALLED IT ON MY 2008 AND NOW GONNA GET ONE FOR MY 2020.

Horrible investment
I don’t know why or how, but this device literally screwed up the ecu in my truck! I just bought this truck too and it’s already in a shop getting fixed. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK!
