Description
TractionMax. The TractionMax gives you the ultimate control over Throttle vs Traction. JMS designed the TractionMAX to work with both factory and aftermarket high horsepower forced induction traction limited vehicles. With a simple and quick install, the unit plugs in-line between your vehicle’s pedal position sensor and vehicle harness. Using the included dual-dial you can adjust Pedal (throttle) and Time (traction) response making performance adjustments on-the-fly! The beneficial dual-dial save feature is great for new drivers, adjust to reduce the ability to over-power the tires.
Pedal. The (PEDAL) dial on the left controls the throttle enhancement. The throttle blade enhancement in percent: 0 = stock, -50 = full torque reduction and +100 is full enhancement. Turn the dial to the right “+” (clockwise) to increase enhancement or left “–” (counter clockwise) to reduce torque. 0 = stock, +50 = some enhancement, +100 = full enhancement, -25 = some torque reduction, -50 = full torque reduction.
Time. The (TIME) dial on the right controls the throttle blade opening rate. Turn the dial to the right “+” (clockwise) to slow down the opening rate of the throttle blade. To reduce wheel-spin on marginal surfaces, increase the time dial (clockwise). Increasing the (TIME) dial increases the time that it takes for the Throttle Blade to open. If the time dial is set to ZERO then the throttle blade will move at the normal speed.
Note: The close rate of the throttle blade IS NOT affected when you increase the TIME dial.
Application. This JMS TractionMAX Traction Control Device is designed to fit 2009-2025 Ford F-150 models.

A great solution
I am floored with the amount of control I now have with the pedal after this install. No joke, this thing just works. Be careful setting it to 100%, a tap of the pedal will have you in the middle of the intersection in a blink.

Major difference
I bought this to get rid of the lag behind the pedal and even at 25% there’s a major difference. 100% it wants to get up and run just barely a pressure on the pedal. Very satisfied with the performance of this but not the gas mileage I get when I use it lol

power
I got this so I would have some more power pulling my camper. it didn't take that long to install witch was nice, the hardest thing was getting it through the fire wall. so to test it I turned it off and at a 50 mph roll put it to the floor then set it at 50% and I noticed a slight difference then set it at 85% and damn she woke up. big change well worth it in my opinion.
