And with its preprogrammed features, you’ll never have to worry about making it work with your truck’s factory systems.
Connects with Your Favorite Mobile Device. The MyLink Upgrade lets you connect your favorite mobile devices to it with its full Apple Car Play and Android Auto support. With this module, you can use the iO6’s integrated mapping that covers the entire USA, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. Moreover, this module also supports texting and the latest Siri Eyes Free application.
Comes with Pre-Programmed Settings. Designed to help you set up this MyLink Upgrade more easily, it comes with preprogrammed settings for seamless integration with your truck’s factory applications. This includes the SiriusXM satellite radio, factory steering wheel mounted audio controls, back-up rear-view camera, and Bluetooth hands-free calling settings.
Plug-n-Play Installation. Installation of this MyLink Upgrade can be completed in no time. Its plug-n-play design lets you install it without the need for special tools or any modifications.

Application. This Infotainment MyLink Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Upgrade is designed to be used on all the 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 models with 4-inch screens.
Important Notes.
- Pre-programmed to function with your vehicle's existing MyLink bluetooth hands-free calling feature.
- Pre-programmed to function with your vehicle's existing steering wheel mounted audio controls. Within the Apple CarPlay mode, your phone must be paired to the system via bluetooth for the steering wheel controls to work. Within the Android Auto mode, you must control all features using the radio hard keys as opposed to the steering wheel controls.
- Pre-programmed to function with your vehicle's existing back-up rear view camera. If your vehicle doesn't have that feature, then you can use Infotainment's TailGate Handle Backup Camera.
- Pre-programmed to function with your vehicle's existing SiriusXM satellite radio. If your vehicle doesn't have that feature, then you can use Infotainment's Magnetic SiriusXM Antenna.
