Installation Time: Afternoon
Works on a 24 but there is a catch
This product is great but the instructions are not. Everything provided by Hypertech tells you to remove the instrument cluster to install this module. That is for 23 and earlier. If you have a 24 or later with the 12” infotainment screen, this module plugs in behind the silver aluminum box that is behind the infotainment screen, not the instrument cluster. The instructions do not say that anywhere but their tech support eventually clarified it for me. Also, it gives you the option to change gear ratio and tires size. Don’t bother with gear ratio. I went from 3.73s to 4.11s and from 31s to 35s. It entered both changes and speedo was still way off. I did it again with JUST the tire size change and my speedo is dead nuts accurate again. I chose this because I did not want to muck with changing the factory computer via Forescan. The “hardest” part is dash disassembly but that’s not really hard. It’s just a matter of popping of some panels and removing some screws. I had previously done so for stereo upgrades. YMMV

plug and play
The power stay works as it should plug it in and drive .Make sure truck is off when installing and start and drive.Dont want in shut truck off and unplug it is that simple.

Words as advertised
As people have said before me. Slight increase in miles per gallon, but that’s enough to worry about and is very consistent now I am getting about 21mpg add a steady 75mph on the highway in about 18 in the city without the device, I was ranging overall about 20mpg. The thing I’ve noticed most by the seat of the pants my Silverado seems to accelerate a bit better than before could be me. I’m not sure.

Got this for the cylinder deactivation, works perfect. Just plugged it in to OBD2 port and thats it.

Looking for engine protection via Hypertech PowerStay
This product appears to be working. The price was better than the other brand I also purchased here(more expensive). They both seem to be doing their job as far as the display says (no V4 light). All of these AFM suspend units I've tried tend to make the truck drive a little different, not bad, just different, noticed in the shifting. I hope this unit will learn or I will and the truck will be as should have been.

Very nice product, easy install, put 1200 miles on my truck pulling a large camper,was very impressed with the difference between stock and tuner, helps the truck shift when it should! Don’t care what anyone else thinks,this tuner works well! Recommend this tuner to anyone pulling heavy loads
