VEHICLE PREPARATION:
Your vehicle’s rear fender wells should be
cleaned prior to the installation of your
new Husky Wheel Well Guards.

Installation

Read all directions thoroughly prior to the
installation of your Wheel Well Guards.

A, B, C & D are pre-drilled fastener locations for
installation.

1. Check part number on the top of the Wheel
Well Guard and identify DS & PS to determine
which side to install.
• DS 7912 installs on the driver’s side.
• PS 7912 installs on the passenger’s side.

2. Install a u-clip over the factory hole at location
B and C.

3. Insert the Wheel Well Guard into the rear
wheel well opening over the tire.
NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the tire.

4. Push the Wheel Well Guard up into the wheel
well opening.

5. Insert the lower flap sections of the Wheel Well
Guard into the fender well behind the fender
well lip. Perform this step for both the front
and rear lower flap sections.

6. Tuck the remaining portion of the Wheel
Well Guard behind the fender lip all the way
around the fender well opening.
Note: Make sure on flared models the Wheel
Well Guard lip is tucked behind the metal
wheel well lip of the truck

7. Align the holes in the Wheel Well Guard at
locations B and C with the factory screw locations
with the U-clips and install the #10 SEM
screws using a phillips head screwdriver.
Note: Do not tighten screws all the way till all
fasteners are installed

8. At locations A and D install the #10 SEM
screws through the Wheel Well Guard and the
slotted factory hole and into a U-clip on the
backside of the sheet metal.
Note: The U-clip goes on the back side of the
sheet metal and is used as a nut at both locations
A and D.

9. Once all fasteners at locations A,B,C & D are
installed, tighten with a phillips head
screwdriver
10. Repeat steps 1-9 on the other side of the
vehicle.
