Description
Increases Power and Performance. Get yourself the HPS Short Ram Air Cold Intake – Blue to take your 2.7L EcoBoost engine-powered Ford F-150 to the next level. This system includes lightweight 3.50 inch mandrel-bent aluminum alloy piping to replace the stock restrictive air box and optimize the airflow. And the included air filter provides more surface area than standard replacement filters to aid with more airflow. It also captures more dirt to increase the service life up to 100,000 miles before cleaning and re-oiling for re-use are required. With this product, you can expect a boost of 28.8 horsepower and 31.50 lb-ft of torque.
No Tune Required. This cold air intake is designed to improve the performance of your Ford truck without the need of reprogramming the computer. By using state of the art computer-aided designs, this intake will increase power using the factory tune. Even though a re-tune is not required for operation, American Muscle recommends a custom tune to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) to get the best possible performance from this intake.
Not CARB Certified. This cold air intake is not CARB certified at this time, therefore, it is not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards.
Easy Installation. Designed to be a direct fit replacement for the factory intake, this intake installs with just basic hand tools. No extra modifications or special tools are required for an easy 1-hour installation. All necessary parts and instructions are included.
Lifetime Warranty with Million Mile Warranty on Air Filter. This cold air intake is guaranteed to be free from material and workmanship defects for as long as you have the part on the truck on which it was installed. The air filter is specifically covered for one million miles. Some exclusions may apply; please see the manufacturer’s warranty for details.
Application. This HPS Short Ram Air Cold Intake is specifically designed to fit the 2015−2020 2.7L EcoBoost engine-powered Ford F-150 models. The included filter is blue in color.
