Description
Sport Truck Style and Performance. If you’re looking to give your F-150 sport truck style and performance, the Ground Force 2-Inch Front / 4-Inch Rear Lowering Kit is the way to go. This lowering kit will drop your front and rear by 2 and 4 inches, respectively, leveling off its stance and lowering its center of gravity. This lowered center of gravity, when combined with the kit’s high-performance shocks, upgrades your truck’s handling, especially when cornering. Moreover, this kit achieves its upgraded handling while delivering a smooth ride so you get to keep its daily drivability.
High-Performance Front and Rear Shocks. This lowering kit will replace your front and rear dampers with a set of Ground Force front and rear shock absorbers. These shocks feature a high-pressure nitrogen gas charged design with 10-stage full displaced valving technology for faster damping response and precise handling feel. What’s more, these shocks come with a 1.375-inch bore designed to keep their internal pressure at optimal levels and to offer excellent heat dissipation.
Solid Front Lowering Coil Springs. This kit also includes a pair of lowering springs designed to provide its 2 inches of front drop. These coil springs are engineered to complement your truck’s suspension components to maintain handling and ride quality at ideal levels. Furthermore, these springs are manufactured from premium hardened spring steel for strength and finished in a blue powder coating for corrosion protection.
Rugged Rear Hangers and Shackles. This kit also provides a set of leaf spring hangers and shackles designed to lower your rear by 4 inches. Specifically, these hangers and shackles work together to relocate your leaf springs in a way that you don’t lose your ride quality and handling. Additionally, these components are machine-formed from premium steel for an accurate fit before receiving a protective black powder coat finish preventing rust.
No Frills Install Procedure. Installing this lowering kit is relatively no-frills as each component uses factory locations on your truck. Some drilling and trimming may be necessary to properly fit certain components in some applications. You will also need a complete set of tools and advanced mechanical skills and knowledge to ensure an efficient installation.
