Complete Drop Hitch Stability. Eliminate wobbling and sloping of your 12 inches or lower drop hitch with the Gen-Y Hitch 2-Inch Receiver Hitch Stabilizer Bars. Lower drop hitches are prone to wobbling and sloping when using their bottom hitch levels, something that can pose certain risks to your truck. This stabilizer bar assembly is designed to take up the slack created by drop hitches with 12 inches or more lengths, keeping them completely stable and rigid. What’s more, these stabilizer bars are ruggedly-built, ensuring many miles of service.
Rugged Build Quality. The Gen-Y Hitch 2-Inch Receiver Stabilizer Bars are manufactured from high-grade steel for strength and durability. Furthermore, each bar is fully adjustable and can extend from 24 to 33 inches, allowing use with a wide range of longer drop hitches. To ensure protection against corrosion, the brackets of this assembly is finished in a chip-resistant black powder coating.
Straightforward install Procedure. These Gen-Y Hitch Stabilizer Bars are designed to use your truck’s hitch rails as mounting locations using the included brackets. These brackets can either be bolted onto your truck using 0.5-inch bolts, or welded on as a more permanent option. If you choose the former, you will need to drill holes on your truck’s hitch frame or other appropriate locations. If you choose the latter however, you may want to consider professional installation particularly if you’re not familiar or experienced with welding.
Comes With a Limited Lifetime Warranty. The Gen-Y Hitch 2-Inch Receiver Stabilizer Bars come with a limited lifetime warranty covering manufacturing defects. Please visit the manufacturer’s website for more details.
Application. The Gen-Y Hitch 2-Inch Receiver Hitch Stabilizer Bars fit all trucks equipped with 2-inch hitch receivers.

Review shared from Gen-Y Hitch The BOSS Torsion-Flex 21K Adjustable 3-Inch Weight Distribution Receiver Hitch Shank; 7-Inch Drop (Universal; Some Adaptation May Be Required)
Understand this Product!
I purchased the Gen-y Hitch called the Boss product number GH-1003 for a 2” receiver (Rated from 400 to 1100 lbs.). The claim from Gen-Y is “The BOSS Torsion-Flex Weight Distribution Shank provides one of the smoothest rides you’ll ever experience.” This is not entirely true. It does give you a better ride experience and keeps the trailer from transferring all its tongue weight (TW) into the tow vehicle for a more pleasant ride for sure during towing. This will ONLY occur if you purchase the right one. Make sure you know your tongue weight (TW) and match it up with the capacity of the BOSS Torsion-Flex Weight Distribution Shank. Don’t guess and do not use the 10 to 15% average of your trailer weight. Make sure you get it weighed and measured correctly. If you get a shank that is rated for more then what you really have you will be feeling absolutely no effects at all and vice versa. I have a 2021 Nissan Armada and I tow a travel trailer that is 26ft and has a max weight of 6600 lbs. Because the Armada has a shorter wheelbase then most trucks it is more sensitive to trailer sway and road bumps (which produce bounce). The shank I got is the low end 400 to 1100 lbs. capacity. My TW is 1100 lbs. (includes two full propane tanks). and keep in mind that the shank and Weight Distribution head adds another 100 lbs. to the rear end of your tow vehicle. The built in TW indicator barely moves to about a third of its range indicating that I would only have a TW of around 600 to 700 lbs. which is not true. That means that the TW indicator is not working as it should and cannot be trusted; however, it will give you an idea that your trailer is within its limits. The BOSS Torsion-Flex Weight Distribution Shank does a good job though. I experienced that it is a better and smoother ride when it comes to road dips at higher speeds on the freeway. Don’t think that the bounce would not be noticed because you will still feel it, but it stopes it relatively quickly and reduces the sway that often comes with it by not allowing the front end of your tow vehicle to lift as much as it would without it. Be aware that this thing weighs a lot and with my weight distribution head attached it almost reaches 100 lbs. That is difficult to lift for any man and impossible if you are older and ailing from back problems. Its construction is solid no doubt and hence the excessive weight. It also adds about 5” in length sticking out from your rear bumper to the point where I have to turn off my rear parking sensors. The extra length also contributes to having to lengthen your safety chains on you trailer. In all, it is a worthwhile addition to your rig set up. It will give you a better feel on the road and increase your confidence when hitting those dips in the freeway. I cannot really comment on the sway though since it seems to be the same as before with my sway control setup (Reese Straight-Line WD).
