      Description

      G2 Performance Series Gears. Use what performance-oriented drivers use by installing a set of G2 3.73 Rear Ring and Pinion Gears on your 1999-2018 Silverado. This rear ring and pinion kit is designed to handle the demands of towing and off-roading racing. Optimized for use with a GM 10-bolt 8.625 Inch differential these gears require a 2.73 or higher carrier for installation.

      Heat Treated.       G2 manufactures their Ring and Pinon Gears to OEM specifications from 8620 steel. The gears are then heat treated for additional strength. The gears are precision milled and lapped for a perfect fit and smooth, quiet operation.

      Professional Installation Recommended. The installation of Ring and Pinon Gears can be a very intricate process, so mechanical experience is highly recommended. Follow the included instructions for best results.

      Ten Year Warranty. This G2 Gear Set is protected by a 10-year warranty, which covers purchasers from any defects in materials and workmanship. For more information regarding warranty terms, please visit the manufacturer’s website.

      Application. This G2 3.73 Rear Ring and Pinion Gear Kit is designed for the 1999-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500.

      Technical Notes. A 2.73:1 or numerically higher ratio carrier is required for installation. Will not work with factory ABS reluctor ring.
