This aftermarket muffler maximizes the performance of your engine with better exhaust breathability. You’ll be sure to drive better and attract attention to your ride with this exhaust upgrade.
Noticeable Interior Resonance. Enjoy the famous Flowmaster hum with this oval chambered muffler during your drives. It provides an aggressive interior and exterior tone, which is sure to make heads turn when you drive through the streets.
Built to Last. Flowmaster’s mufflers are made with durable 16 gauge aluminized steel and have been fully MIG welded to ensure their strong and reliable performance. Its black overcoat provides extra protection against oxidation, making it more resistant to corrosion and rusting.
Easy Installation. Using the accompanying installation hardware, this muffler can be installed in your car within 1 to 2 hours. We advise hiring a qualified mechanic to install the upgrade if you have no prior experience doing it.
Application. The Flowmaster Original 40 Series Center/Dual Out Oval Muffler is universally designed to fit all Chevrolet Silverado 1500 models.

Excellent muffler !! These mufflers sound great day one, not obnoxiously loud but good deep tone . When I buy another V8 vehicle I will put flowmaster mufflers on it.I have been using the 40 series for years and you can’t beat the quality of them

Fantastic Upgrade – Should’ve Done This Sooner!
This exhaust system is a great addition to my truck—I only wish I had made the upgrade years ago! The sound is perfect—not too loud, not too quiet—just the right balance. Cabin noise while driving or idling is minimal, making for a comfortable ride. I’ve also noticed a nice boost in performance, with smoother acceleration. Plus, my fuel efficiency has improved on my daily commute. Overall, an excellent investment that enhances both sound and performance!
