Great exhaust

Love the sound, deep rumble. Relatively easy install. I had to reshape the end a little. Also, some JB Weld muffler cement works wonders to seal any leaks where it clamps on. Great enhancement to the sound. Grab a k&n air intake to go with it and you're set.

Loud

I bought this exhaust for my 2012 Chevy. I watched the video and it seemed like the muffler wasn’t that loud. I got my truck today and it’s allowed a lot louder than the video looks good don’t get me wrong. But it is loud.

Great sound and easy install

Installation was a breeze, everything went together easily and fast! Sounds great with enough rumbling to turn head but not enough to sound annoying

Simple and noticeable

Less than 30 minute install, took longer to remove the old exhaust once it was cut. It’s a noticeably louder exhaust for just a bolt on. Sounds a lot better than the stock and it really was painless to install. Definitely worth the money.

Badass

Nice deep rumble. Drones like crazy though but expected due to mid cabin turndown. Welded mine instead of clamp.

The right tools make it easy

It’s a great sounding exhaust honestly. There is some mild drone after the initial install but it does die down a bit after driving a week after install or more likely I just got used to it. Either way I’m good with it and haven’t had any passenger complaints. The install instructions were just slightly off on the measurement of where to cut so after the initial cut I needed about another half inch. The best description is to cut where the exhaust thins out and remains at that diameter. The new one will easily slide right over it. If it isn’t doing that you didn’t cut off enough. I stuck with just the clamp until I can get it to my cousin who does welding for a living. It’s not leaking so don’t fret if you don’t know how to or know someone who can weld. I’d still recommend looking for someone eventually but it does leave the option to change it out if you don’t like it. It did take me longer than the hour I thought it should take. I was working from the ground and am claustrophobic so I took a lot of breaks especially when frustrated. I do recommend investing in a grinder for the install. A hacksaw or sawzall will work but it’s a pretty tough cut in a small space. So yea depending on the tools you have and your level of comfort not a tough install. This was my first experience not paying someone to do it and I will say…paying for somethings isn’t always a bad option but I’m glad I took on the experience.

Simple and straight forward installation. Under and out in 30 mins, if not less (set up ready). Adds great sound, loud but not over the top annoying loud. Nice rumble tone when idle. Can be bothersome if stuck in between gears going up mountain (with windows up). Easy enough to still have a conversation or listen/enjoy music while cruising. Overall a great buy but if you want something less in the cab, go with the outlaw dual rear exit. IMO the American thunder on my buddies truck is just a little too quiet and the outlaw series is the best noise level

Just put it on yesterday I don’t play music just to listen to how beautiful it sounds ?????
