The 409 stainless steel stands up ruggedly to the hot, corrosive fumes blasting through it, and features a tough black coating for extra corrosion-proofing. The muffler's internal baffles are welded and permanent, while the dump style exit features a simple square-cut end and single wall construction. 3” mandrel-bent tubing is used throughout.
