The high-flowing muffler and the smooth transition bends facilitate a more efficient movement of the exhaust gases that allow for low turbulence. This enhanced flow results in additional 12 horsepower, 13 pound-feet torque gains, and enhanced throttle response.
Durable and Well-Designed. Flowmaster manufactured this FlowFX Extreme Exhaust using 3-inch, 16-gauge mandrel-bent, high-grade 409 stainless steel tubing. The turn-down style dump exit design provides maximum clearance during extreme angle climbs or descents protecting the exhaust over rough terrain. The exhaust assembly can durably withstand corrosion and thermal stress. Moreover, the factory-style hangers secure the pipe assembly in place during high-vibration driving conditions.
