The first layer of plating is copper which adheres to the wheel and creates a smooth foundation. The second is nickel, providing hardness and durability. One-Piece Low Pressure Cast Wheel. This One-Piece Wheel is manufactured using low pressure casting. Low pressure casting is a process that uses positive pressure to draw molten aluminum into the wheel mold faster.
