Description
Recovery for Experts. Recovery when off-roading can get tricky. If your 1997-2025 Ford F-150 is needed for some rather difficult recovery situations, the best recovery shackle for the job is the Factor 55 FlatLink E Expert. The large, pear-shaped mounting hole is more versatile than normal FlatLink mounts, but can create some dangerous shackle side loading conditions. That's why this mount is recommended for serious off-roaders only.
Built with Durability in Mind. Crafted from 6000-series billet aluminum, the FlatLink E is rated for up to 16,000 lbs., with an ultimate failure rating of over 40,000 lbs. The included EPDM rubber guard provides a durable cover to protect fairleads and FlatLink E from scratches and abrasion, while the Military Specification Anodizing hard anodized gray finish provides unbeatable weather resistance and long-lasting durability.
Protects Your Haul. The shackle design provides you with an attachment that protects your recovery straps from fraying due to rubbing up against a steel hook. You can attach synthetic ropes or steel cables up to 3/8-inch diameter. When folded, the winch is only 1.75 inches thick to easily fit into roller fairlead license plate mounting brackets. It's superior strength in a versatile, small package.
Installation. Installing this shackle is simple and requires just a quick snap of the recovery rope into the internal snap ring. It should only take a matter of minutes.
