Description
Bring the Low-Profile Tow. Vehicle recovery is a vital part of any off-roading adventure, so that's why having a powerful recovery hook or shackle is vital. That's where the Factor 55 FlatLink comes into play. Built from CNC-machined 6000-series aluminum and finished with a resilient black powder coat, this is the recovery device that will save your off-roading adventure and look good doing it.
Pull it All. The pulling power from FlatLink is extraordinary, being rated for 16,000 lbs. steadily without breaking a sweat. Its breaking point is at weights of over 40,000 lbs., so you have quite a range to work with. Just know that a two-pound piece of aluminum breaking with over 40,000 lbs. of pressure applied to it will cause shrapnel capable of seriously injuring or killing someone.
Get the Hook-Up. The low-profile design of FlatLink is perfect for off-roaders wanting to conserve space. It only stands 1.75 inches when properly secured, compatible with all roller fairhead license plate mounting brackets. In addition, FlatLink is able to hold up to 3/8-inch diameter steel cables and synthetic ropes while the shackle is compatible with 3/4-inch shackles or D-rings.
No-Hassle Installation. FlatLink installs about as easily as it pulls things to safety. Simply switch out your old recovery hook for FlatLink, no tools required. Ensure the EPDM rubber guards are in place to protect your fairleads for rough weather.
One-Year Warranty. To demonstrate the faith Factor 55 places in their products, they have supplied FlatLink with a one-year warranty against material and craftsmanship defects. Please see Factor 55's full warranty for complete details.

Serious piece of equipment
Nice improvement over the standard 3/4" thick fairleads that come with winches. Well made, flawless machining and coating. Usa made. Recessed bolt holes. This will definatly improve life of synthetic lines by reducing pinching and sharp bends.
