This tailgate handle cover features an automotive-grade ABS plastic construction for exceptional durability and resistance to heat and chemicals all in a lightweight package. Also, this cover is precision-molded, providing a sleek, OE-grade fit once installed. Rounding out its design is a triple chrome-plating that won’t peel or chip under normal circumstances for a look that will last.

      Efficient Install Procedure. This tailgate handle cover features automotive-grade double-sided foam adhesive backing, making its installation an efficient peel-and-stick installation. Before installing this cover, thoroughly wash and dry your truck’s tailgate handles. Next, wiped down the handles with a clean rag moistened with alcohol. This is to maximize the adhesion of the backing to the handle. Take note, the backing’s adhesive works best at a temperature of 65 degrees Fahrenheit. If you’re mounting this piece in cold weather, please warm-up the mounting surfaces. This could be accomplished with a hairdryer or a heat gun.
