This accent trim is designed to install into the recessed section on the lower half of your truck’s tailgate, giving it an eye-catching design cue. What's more, the all-stainless-steel build makes this accent trim strong enough to protect the area from scratches, dents, and dings.
Heavy-Duty Build Quality. This tailgate accent trim is constructed from 26-gauge stainless steel, giving the component superior strength and exceptional corrosion resistance. Also, each part of this accent trim is machine-cut for an accurate fit when mounted. To top it off, this accent trim is polished to a mirror-finish for classy looks.
Hassle-Free Install Procedure. This tailgate trim features an automotive-grade double-sided foam adhesive backing, making its installation a hassle-free peel-and-stick procedure. Before installation though, your tailgate should be thoroughly washed and dried, before being wiped down with alcohol. This is to ensure the component adheres completely to the mounting surface. Additionally, the trim’s adhesive works best in 65-degree temperatures. If you are installing this component in cold weather, the mounting surface should first be warmed up. This could be done using a hairdryer or a heat gun.
Application. This Stainless Steel Tailgate Accent Trim fits all 2018 to 2020 Ford F-150 models.
Application Notes. This Tailgate Handle Cover won’t work with handles equipped with an LED light.
