Better Safety and Convenience. The STX Drop Side Step Bars prioritize safety and ease of use with their integrated non-slip step pads. These strategically placed pads provide superior grip, ensuring secure footing even in challenging conditions. Whether you're navigating a muddy campsite after a weekend getaway or braving a rainy day, the non-slip surface offers the stability and confidence you need to enter and exit your vehicle safely.

Built to last
This is very heavy you should have two people to install. I almost wish I would hit something to test it out. lol I think it's well worth the money.

Love it so far
Came in about week and a half. Small battle scar but mounting was spot on and really easy with a few guys. Love the look and with the bug guard don’t even see it while driving. Seems very strong and sturdy in case those silly deer decide to run out in front of me, they are crazy around here so want the extra protection.

Easier than I thought
I installed this by myself and used a chain lift to hoist it up with a lifting strap. It’s heavy but it came wrapped in a nice cloth blanket which allowed me to drag it around and get it into position to lift up. The instructions are not ideal but if you’re handy or built enough Lego sets as a kid you can figure it out. Just make sure you set a level on it before you tighten everything down. I ended up tightening everything only to discover it sat uneven.

Great Look, Instructions Suck
I love the look and it seems to be built well. I will say the instructional videos done by AT are not very helpful. The top bracket install is very difficult to do with an ecoboost. There should be a 10 minute video for that portion alone. I ended up having to take off front bumper in order to get to the required bolt. I was able to attach the lower bracket and towhooks with no problems. Definitely recommend having a buddy with you when installing.

simple=better
This is the simple answer to overcoming the problem of me getting older but still wanting the advantage of maintaining the superior ground clearance offered by a modern plckup truck. It works!!

Steel Craft Front Bumper
Really pleased with this item I was going back and forth between the Ranch Hand and the Steel Craft. But the quality of the Steel Craft is excellent. Installation wasn’t difficult and if there’s any confusion American Trucks has a great video of installing it to your truck.

Rusting after just two years of use!
I really like this bumper. I took a long time to research it and felt it was the perfect fit for my conditions. I had it delivered directly to my Ford Dealership for them to do the installation along with some Baja Designs fog lights... it went quick without any issues according to the shop. The ride quality was great... I was happy. However I noticed spots on the bumper that looked like mud (brown splashes) and just thought I needed to run it through the car wash. I live on a dirt road and it gets muddy... After washing the truck I noticed the splotches were still there. I looked closer and saw it was actually rust! I didn't see any bubbling, etc... it was forming on top of whatever paint/finish is on the bumper. The only fix I can think is to clean it up as best I can and then Plastic Dip the bumper. That should protect it more as long as the rust stops corroding the metal. After pays as much as I did, I am pretty mad the bumper started to rust after so short a time and miles (about 6,000 over that time). They need to examine the finish they use ...
