Noah: Noah here, from American Trucks, and we're gonna check out these LED C-Bar Projector Headlights with Gloss Black Housings and Smoked Lenses for the 2009 to 2014 F-150 with the factory halogen headlights. These headlights are going to be perfect for the F-150 owner that wants a seriously dark-looking headlight upgrade with a bright daytime running light design that's sure to make your truck stand out on the road, as well as parked with the lights off. These headlights will only fit F-150s equipped with the halogen headlights from the factory. So, just my personal take on these, guys, I do think they look pretty awesome. They have a really dark presence to them with a gloss black housing and a smoked lens on top of that. So, when they're off, you really can't see a ton going on inside of them because of that dark lens, but when the lights are on, that daytime running light is super bright and just cuts right through, and almost gives that floating light effect that's really neat. Now, daytime running lights are designed to look great as well as make your truck more visible to other drivers on the road during the day, hence the name "daytime running light."As far as construction goes, we do have automotive-grade plastic housings and lenses. So, that means your LEDs are protected from road debris, moisture, and heat. There also is a projector lens in each headlight, and that's gonna provide a nice and focused light beam for better visibility rather than just doing something like putting an LED bulb in a stock headlight. And these headlights also come with a limited one-year warranty as well, so that you as a buyer, are protected from any manufacturing defects. Now, these headlights are gonna cost you around 450 bucks, making them one of the cheaper options in terms of aftermarket headlights for the '09 to '14 F-150. Now, while you aren't getting any sequential bells and whistles, these do have some bright LED daytime running lights in a really dark design for a decent price tag. So, if you're okay without all the bells and whistles, these are gonna be a great option for you to consider. Now, installing this set of headlights on your F-150 is only gonna take you about an hour to do on your own, but according to the site, these guys have an install difficulty right at two out of three wrenches, so you can expect that it might take a little bit of mechanical skill to accomplish. So, speaking of install, let's head over to the shop and take a look at the install procedure step by step.Man 1: The tools you'll need for this project are a 3/8 impact gun or a 3/8 drive regular ratchet, a short extension, and a 10-millimeter socket. Hi, everyone. Today, we're installing a set of headlights on our F-150, but before we do that, let's watch a short video on how to uninstall the stock headlights first, and we'll see you right back here.Man 2: Now, guys, step one, of course, is to pop your hood. Grille and hood goes with it. So, what we're gonna do here is grab our extension, an impact gun, and a 10-millimeter socket, deep or short does not matter. We're gonna remove the two 10-millimeter bolts from up top, then we're gonna pull back this flap here and remove one more 10-millimeter. And from there, we should be able to pull our headlight out of place. So, grab those, take these off.All right. From here we're gonna pull back this flap. We got one more right here. This is where I use that extension. All right. From here we got all three bolts out of the way. That's really all you have to remove. Just pull straight back on the headlight. You might have to apply a little bit of force, there's some clips holding it in here, but pull straight back and it'll come out. From here, what we're gonna do is just pinch and disconnect those factory harnesses from the bulbs. Now we can set the factory headlight aside.Man 1: Now, before we can actually install our new light, there's a couple of things that we need to take care of. One, we need to transfer over our turn signal bulb and socket, and we also need to transfer over our parking light socket without the bulb. So, let's go ahead and get that taken care of. To remove our turn signal, we're just gonna turn it counterclockwise and pull it straight out. And then we'll just transfer it over to the new light in the reverse procedure. So, we'll insert it into this hole and turn it clockwise till it locks in place. Now we can remove our parking light as well and then just pop the bulb out of it, and then we'll connect the harness that's already in the light where the light bulb was at. Then we'll just feed everything back in, and again, we'll just turn it clockwise and lock it into place. Now we're ready to go ahead and install it.Now we'll go ahead and plug in our factory harness to the connectors on the back of our light, plug in our headlight connector, and then our turn signal. Now, we can go ahead and install it and use our original hardware to secure it. Install our two bolts at the top and tighten them down with our 10-millimeter socket. Now we'll install the one on the side and tighten it down with our 10-millimeter socket. And now you can repeat that whole process for the other side as well. And that wraps up our review and install of the LED C-Bar Projector Headlights in the Gloss Black Housing with Smoked Lens for the '09 to '14 F-150 with factory halogen headlights. Thanks for watching. And remember, for all things F-150, keep it right here americantrucks.com.

Headlights
Beautiful headlights, the dlr light needs to be hard wired to your clearance lights but it's pretty simple.

Blinker issues
Love the look. Quick & easy install. Only complaint is that the blinker on the driver side does not work when engaged. Checked fuses, checked bulb, no solution so far. Planning to contact customer service for an answer.

Great Headlights
Pretty solid headlights and an amazing upgrade from stock. Very bright Led, love the sequential and breathing effects, and great quality. Headlight Bulbs aren’t very bright so i would love to find out what kind of led bulbs would work in them.

LED HALO Projector
Long story short, hit a deer and replaced old outdated headlights. However, they are a bit odd. The dims are very bright and wide spread and the brights are not even as bright as the dims. I have better night vision with the dims on. I may just need to get used to the Projector style. I would choose the projector/LED style again but maybe a different model. Before you buy take a look at a few other styles in the same price range. Just a personal observation.

These lights our absolutely amazing. Sequential Lighting, Easy install, and all compliments!! But!! Not for backroad cruising. The Headlights aren't very bright at all, even with brights on. Overall Love them and it's something I can deal with.
