2007-2018 down pipes for your Chevy Silverado are a must if you’ve got a turbocharger rumbling under the hood – and even if you don’t, a new set of high-flow aftermarket down pipes can perk up your machine. There are several different options for upgrading these parts. Off-road down pipes provide the strongest gains in torque and horsepower, by not including any catalytic converters, though this means they can’t be driven legally on the street. 2007-2018 catted down pipes, on the other hand, are equipped with high flow catalytic converters, so that they can be driven on the road, though they still offer a good power boost. Some of these pipes are made from aluminized steel, while others use various grades of rust-resistant stainless steel, including the best grade, T-304.
