Noah: Hey everyone, Noah from AmericanTrucks here. Let's take a look at these LED DRL Headlights with Clear Corner Lights, Black Housing, and Clear Lenses for the '15 to '17 F-150 with the Factory Halogen Headlights. So, if you're looking for a darker set of LED daytime running light style headlights for your F-150, and you're all right with passing on projectors and built-in LED low and high beams for the sake of cost savings, then these headlights will be a great choice for you. The factory-style headlights on most trucks leave a lot on the table. They aren't offensive by any means, but they aren't exactly turning heads either. However, these headlights with their awesome white daytime running light design really add a lot to the front end of an F-150. Not only do those daytime running lights look awesome, but they also make you more visible to distracted drivers during the day and at night. Making yourself easy to spot is a no-brainer in my opinion. Now, another thing to note about these guys is that they do utilize the factory halogen bulbs for both the low and the high beams, but you can always grab a set of LED bulbs off our site for maximum brightness. Those bulbs will just drop right in, and the time to install them is when you have the headlights out since it'll be really easy to get to the back of the headlight while everything is off the truck. Then to finish everything off, these do have clear corner lights, black housing, and clear lenses for a nice clean look that doesn't pull any attention away from those daytime running lights. The housing of these headlights are weather-sealed, so you don't need to worry about getting any moisture inside the headlights and damaging those LEDs.Now, those LEDs are fiber optic LED tubes that snake around that housing. And as I said before, these do work with the factory halogen bulbs, and those being 9,005 high beams and H-11 low beam. Then to close them off, we do have clear polycarbonate lenses. And another thing to note is that these headlights actually come with a limited lifetime warranty as well, so you're protected from any manufacturing defects for life. These headlights fall right around the $475 mark, making these headlights one of the cheapest options out there in terms of headlight upgrades with LED daytime running lights. And like I mentioned earlier, these are going to be cheap because they don't have a lot of those bells and whistles that a lot of other headlights available have. So, if a darker look and an upgraded daytime running light is all you want out of a headlight, you get to save some money, and it's your lucky day. Now, installing these headlights is actually pretty easy, so there isn't anything to worry about if you're just getting started with modifying your truck. We're only looking at an install difficulty of one out of three wrenches, and about an hour install time. At this point, I'm gonna hand you over to one of the guys in the install bay, and he's gonna take you through that installation process step by step.Male Speaker: Okay, for this install, you will need a set of wire stripper grippers, a razor blade for removing any electrical tape on your harness, four T-Taps to tap into your DRLs, a 7, an 8, and a 10-mil socket, a ratchet, extensions, adapter if you need it, cordless ratchet if you have it, and a clip removal tool.Hello everyone, today we're gonna show you how to install some headlights on your F-150, let's get started. After we have our hood popped, the first step will be to remove the negative battery terminal to protect any electrical components while we're working on this install. To do that, I will be using a 10-millimeter socket with a ratchet. Our next step will be to remove the upper push pin for our trim panel, using our push pin removal tool. And repeat this process for the other side.Next, remove the two lower trim bolts located in the wheel well using your seven-millimeter socket. Now, give your trim panel a firm tug, should come right off. Next, remove your inner trim panel, which is one 8-millimeter bolt, six 10-millimeter bolts, and a push pin on the backside. Next, remove your three last 10-millimeter bolts. Two on the top, and one is recessed in the middle, which you will need an extension for. For this last 10-millimeter bolt, you will need an extension and your 10-millimeter socket, and it is located in line with the lower half of your headlight. Now, pull your headlight out. Once the headlight is out, you can now unplug your electrical connectors. Now, before we install our new headlights, we're going to need to swap over our turn signal and marker light bulbs to our new housings from the factory unit. To remove these sockets, simply grab them, give them a turn counterclockwise, and they should pop right out. And uncover your socket locator on the new housing, insert and twist clockwise to set it. And you wanna repeat the same thing counterclockwise for this, remove it, remove your tape cover, follow your new one, and repeat. Set it in. Turn it clockwise until it stops. So, for this install, these do require wiring in your DRLs to a current power source. So, before you go ahead and put them in, it's a good idea to strip and expose your wires, so you can tap them. Now that we have these stripped and prepped, we can now move on to the truck. Your next step is going to be plugging in all of your connectors to the new housing. Okay. And go ahead and send it back into place. One thing to note is to keep your wiring up high, so you can tap into the power source that we will be using. So, for this part, we're going to be stripping back a little bit of the wire on our harness side too because that's always a good idea when using T-taps, which we have to do in this case for our lighting. And you always want to give it the best connection possible. So, we will go ahead and just pull it back a little bit, just exposing a bit, so that T-tap can get a good connection. You need to pull back here, loom here a little bit, just to get a good bite, and you just want to pull it back a bit, just enough to expose a good amount, so that T-clamp can get in there nice and secure. Now you want to take your T-clamp and find that exposed section that you just snipped off. And then you wanna put that in there nice and secure. And take your headlight wire, get it in there real good, and clamp it down nice and tight. Double checking your connections to make sure they're always secure. It's always a good idea. And your clamp is good, everything's nice and tight. And then you wanna do the same thing for your ground wire. Once you have both wires tapped into your power source, which we used our marker light power source, you want to go ahead and plug your connector back in, make sure everything is good and secure and out of the way. Not gonna be having any wires dangling or anything like that. Everything's tucked out of the way, and then you can move on to your install. So, after you've made sure all of your mounting points are correct, you can start by reinstalling your three 10-millimeter bolts. Starting with the recessed one back here. You will need an extension for this. Your two top bolts here. Go ahead and put them back in. It's nice and secure. Next, we can go ahead and reinstall our inner trim panel using our 8-millimeter six 10-millimeter bolts and push pin for the backside. Eight-millimeter bolt. Okay, set. And don't forget your push pin on the backside holding in the trim. Tighten down our 8-millimeter bolt.Next, we can reinstall our six 10-millimeter bolts. Now, reinstall your outer trim panel. Now, reinstall your upper push pin to hold it in place. And lastly, reinstall your two 7-millimeter bolts in the wheel well. And now you can reinstall your negative battery terminal. Alrighty, guys, that about wraps up our review and install of our LED DRL Headlights with Clear Corner Lights, Black Housings, and Clear Lenses for your '15 to '17 F-150 with factory halogen headlights. Thank you for watching. And as always, for anything F-150, keep it right here at americantrucks.com.

Good lights for the money
Overall I like these headlights. I did have an issue installing led headlight bulbs in my driver side headlight. Seemed the slots for the bulb to lock in were cheaply made. No instructions came with the lights. I did watch the video before hand. That helped a lot. Overall a 4 out of 5.

Makes my truck standout always.
I cannot tell you how many times I’ve driven past other F150 owners and them looking at these headlights as I drive by them. Very bright and wide peripheral range from their illumination. love them

DRL LED Headlights
Excellent replacement for OEM Headlights, easy install with all attach points lining up with OEM holes. DRL wiring was easy to tap into with existing lights. I changed the halogen bulbs with super bright LED bulbs 6K low beam and 20K high beams.

Nice
These are some good lights but the only issue I had with them was I thought they was true plug & play the pictures don't show the wires or say anything about wiring. FYI the DRL's have to be wired into a source I wired mines into my ignition so when every it's on the lights will be turned on because if I wired them into my DRL system on the truck they would have turned off at night, but they added a good look.

Good, but lack a little in some areas
I am super impressed with the look but they can be shaky sometimes, the grille helps with that tho. Overall change the look of the truck for the better in a lot of ways! And they make the oem high beams way better.

Review shared from J-Halo LED DRL Headights with Clear Corner; Black Housing; Clear Lens (03-06 Silverado 1500)
Not bad for the $.
Got these back this summer for a truck I was putting together for my nephew. Brought an updated look to an older vehicle with the LED DRL'S and LED trim around the headlight bulbs. Pretty easy to install if you have a basic knowledge of wiring. After watching a couple of YT video installs I had them in the truck in an hour or so. Only issue is one side has a little moisture in the lens, other than that no issues at all.
