Description

This simple replacement component is constructed from market-grade steel and is coated in a contaminant-resistant black powder-coat finish for added durability and long-lasting functionality.
Warranty. This product comes with a limited lifetime warranty that covers any manufacturer defects or damages prior to installation. Some limitations may apply to this warranty.
Installation. This product does not require professional installation and would take roughly 30 minutes to install.

Simple and direct replacement, my old on the o-ring seal was missing and the stick would back itself out of the tube.

Engine oil dipstick
Fit like the original equipment and looks great. Easy install just pull the old one out and put the new one in. It is the same length and style of the original equipment dipstick. Fits as it should. Works and reads as the factory one. I will definitely be buying more stuff from American trucks!

Fixed my idle issues!!!!!!
I drove for two years with a poorly idling 2002 f150 with the 4.6. my mechanic found that these were the cause. American trucks was the only supplier we could get them from quick and cheap.

I have a 2011 ford f150 4x4 3.5l ecoboost. I am a avid outdoorsman, which in turn I travel alot of distance at times. Being in the forest, on old logging roads with my truck several times I have had to add gas to my truck. First weeks outing time with this truck I was pushing the redline on empty. So I get my cans out and get under the driver side rear seat. Where the fennel is supposed to be! "NO FENNEL TO BE FOUND!" I did some adaptive measure. This fennel is very handy item. If you have a gas capless truck, sport utility by ford. Make sure you have one! Other wise could be a long walk with no cell service. Fennel is the exact diameter as a fuel pump at your favorite gas station. You put the fennel in the capless tank filler. Make sure to push it all the way in. In short term if not all the way in, your gas will be on the ground. This capless setup is pretty cool. Inside of the capless filler there are two, or three of a button tang that sticks out. When you put a fuel nozel or the fennel into the capless setup, it will allow you to add the fuel to your tank. Without this fennel. You cannot put anything into your capless setup. This capless setup is also a safety feature. When you make your girlfriend madd, or something in that order. No one can put anything into your tank that's not supposed to be their. So in a short turn, whatever someone is try adding to your vehicles tank, without the fennel 99.9% will hit the ground. This fennel fills the gap between the capless feature and your tank! So if you have a locking gas door on your vehicle. They just need something to pry that open. Without the fennel though nothing goes into your tank. Another feature of this capless setup. Without the fennel, or the knowledge on how to open the flapper on the inside of the capless system. They cannot siphon any fuel out of your tank. So with the prices of gasoline and diesel at the present time, alot of people have gas or diesel stolen from there vehicles. So in the short term, no fennel, no adding gas or diesel to your tank. Without your the fennel no theft. Without fennel anything being added to your vehicles hits the ground! Oh almost forgot! After it's in your hand, open fuel door and putting in fennel 40 seconds on a slow day!
