      Description

      A Sturdy Towing Option. If you want to turn your vehicle into a powerful towing machine, you need this Double Lock Gooseneck Hitch with a 2-5/16-Inch Ball. With its 30,000-Pound gross trailer weight, the hitch easily handles most trailers. It comes with a 2-5/16-Inch gooseneck ball, which you use to secure whatever you're towing. When not in use, this ball can be flipped or removed so it doesn't obstruct your truck's bed. The integrated spring-loaded safety chains keep your load secured at all times.

      Rugged Construction. CURT knows that strength is the key when it comes to towing hitches. This part is made using durable carbon steel, which can handle heavy loads and resist impacts. The clever rubber around the gooseneck hole guards against corrosion, as does the A-Coat used for the part. A chrome-plated trim ring adds a touch of flair in addition to more protection against the elements.

      No Welding Required. Installation of this hitch does not require welding or the removal of any part of your truck bed. However, you will need to have under-bed gooseneck installation brackets fitted to enable the installation of this hitch.

      Multiple Warranties. Beyond the 1-year warranties offered on the finish and parts, CURT also backs this hitch with a limited lifetime warranty against factory defects. All apply to the original purchaser and carry exclusions for user damage.

      Application. The Double Lock Gooseneck Hitch with 2-5/16-Inch Ball fits 1997-2024 F-150s.

      Installation Difficulty. Though no welding or complex truck bed removals are required, installation still requires intermediate skills. Fitting the hitch should take about an hour with the relevant brackets.
