This rear assembly is not just a bumper, it’s a bumper with a dual swing arm carrier for the ultimate in overland or off-road accessories. It features a spare tire carrier that accommodates huge 37-inch tires. Aside from that, the carrier system can also hold geri, scepter, or NATO cans, which is perfect for long overland journeys.
Heavy-Duty Steel Construction. Expedition One uses 3/16-inch and 1/4-inch thick steel for the inner frame and a 3/16-inch steel plate for the outer skin. Crafted by professional welders, the assembly is formidable in its capacity to hold loads while resisting impacts from hazards. The finish, meanwhile, is a black textured powder coating, providing stealthy appeal and corrosion resistance.
Bolt-On Installation. The Expedition One Rear Bumper can be installed through factory mounting locations for a straight-up bolt-on installation. There would be no welding or other mods to secure the rear bumper on your Chevy. However, it would be a good idea to call a friend to help you carry the heavy 225-pound bumper assembly.
Backed by Lifetime Warranty. Expedition One backs this Rear Bumper with a limited lifetime warranty. It may be a good idea to register the product on the manufacturer’s website to facilitate a smooth claim process, just in case you found a defect.
