How to Install Center Console Lock Vault (14-18 Silverado 1500) on your Chevy Silverado

Installation Instructions:

1.  Remove carpet and mounting hardware from inside the safe.

2.  Do not remove file hangers. Lock vault will fit with the stock file hangers.

3.  Remove rubber pad in the bottom of the console using rubber tab.

4.  Use ratchet and 10mm socket to remove 10mm nuts in the console.

5.  Open the lock vault. Place the lock vault in the empty console. Line up holes in the lock vault with threaded holes in the bottom of the console.

6.  Use 10mm socket and ratchet to tighten provided hardware.

7.  Place provided carpet in the bottom of the lock vault.

8.  Ensure lock vault is securely fastened inside console. Retain file hanging capabilities. Set code according to instructions provided with lock vault.
