Description
Top-Notch Heat Soak Shield. This Ultra 47™ Starter Shield is designed to protect engine starters against excessive heat. Its reflective aluminized property gives the shield a higher sustained heat capability and can protect starters against direct heat exposure of up to 1350°F.
Expert Design for an Added Layer of Protection. The shield’s two-layer design is composed of a highly reflective outer layer made even tougher by a high-heat inner layer. This nifty construction guarantees the best and highest level of protection for engine starters that are prone to heat soak issues.
Custom-Cut Fit. Each starter shield is supplied in one standard size. 7”W x 24”L. But the good part is you can easily trim the material by using a sharp knife or scissors to get your desired length.
No-Tool Installation. The starter shield has a hook-and-loop fastening system to make installation a breeze. There’s no need for other tools, simply wrap the shield on the starter, tighten and lock, and you’re good to go.
