Noah: I'm Noah from AmericanTrucks, and we're checking out this Corsa Performance Xtreme Single Exhaust System with Twin Black Tips and a Side Exit for the '21 and newer 5.0L F-150, excluding the Tremor. Now, if you're looking to ditch that stock exhaust for a high-end system that's gonna give you a great sound and a bump in performance, you're gonna wanna check out this system from Corsa. Now, you just heard that exhaust clip so you know that this is pretty loud and it's gonna be a four out of five on the wake-the-neighbor scale.Factory exhausts are restrictive and they limit airflow out of the motor, but most importantly, they're just too quiet. And one of the easiest ways to get a little jump in power and a good sound is to install a free-flowing exhaust system that doesn't have all the factory nonsense. Now, this system is straight-through and it only has one muffler, so you're gonna get a lot more noise out of this as well. And this exhaust exits on the passenger side right behind the rear wheel, so you're gonna hear a lot more noise in the cab rather than with a rear exit that would leave that sound behind the truck as you drove away. Now, the little party piece of this system is going to be the dual tips here at the back. They have the Corsa logo right on them. They're painted gloss black, which gives them a really clean look, and they accent that F-150 styling pretty darn well, I think. As far as construction goes, this whole system is made from 3-inch mandrel bent 304 stainless steel piping, which means the piping isn't only free-flowing and smooth around the bends, but it's gonna be really resistant to corrosion and rust. Now, the muffler here is going to silence some of the noise and take the edge off, even though it's completely straight-through, and it's going to remove that painful edge and make the sound manageable but still loud. And then on to the end, those dual tips, like I said, they exit right behind the rear wheel on the passenger side. Those guys have a PVD black finish on them, so they're protected as well as discreet, and they look pretty special. Now, a couple more things to mention first is that Corsa designed this system with their RSC technology, and that stands for Reflective Sound Cancellation. Now, the RSC muffler is constructed in a way that gives an aggressive sound under acceleration, but a drone-free driving experience otherwise. And then lastly, this system is designed to bolt right up with zero modifications to it, so you don't need to break the welder out or anything like that. The Corsa system is going to come in around $1,200. I will say this exhaust is one of the more affordable high-end stainless options out there for your truck. That's gonna come down to the fact that it's a single exhaust rather than a dual exhaust, which uses twice the amount of piping. Less pipe means less money, and that's one of the benefits to having a single side exit other than the fact that a side exit exhaust is awesome. You're looking at an install difficulty of one out of three wrenches, and it's only gonna take you about two hours to get this install done. Now, the exhaust has a lot less pieces than some of the other options, so the install's gonna be straightforward, especially on a truck, because trucks have a higher ground clearance than a car, which means it's easy to get under there and play with stuff. Now, everything you need for the install is included with the kit, so it really shouldn't be too much trouble for you at all. At this point, I'm gonna hand you over to one of the guys in our shop, and they're gonna walk you through that install process step by step.Male Speaker: Tools required for this install include an impact gun, a ratchet, exhaust hanger remover tool, 15-millimeter wrench, an extension, 17-millimeter swivel socket, and 10, 13, and 15-millimeter sockets. What's up, guys? Today we're installing an exhaust on our F-150, so let's get started. So to remove our exhaust, we're gonna start up front. From the factory, these have two 13-millimeter bolts. However, our hardware has been replaced, so I'm gonna be using a 17-millimeter socket and 15-millimeter wrench to get our hardware out.So now we're starting on the flange right in front of our resonator. Like I said, the factory is a 13-millimeter bolt. Since ours was replaced, we've got a 17-millimeter socket and 15-millimeter wrench.Next, we can come back to the rubber isolator right in front of our muffler and take an exhaust hanger remover tool to pop that out. Next, we can come to the isolator at the back of our muffler. We have a 10-millimeter bolt that we can remove to make this hanger come off a little bit easier. So I'll take a 10-millimeter socket to pop that out. Now, the last thing holding our exhaust on is this rearmost hanger. We have a 10-millimeter bolt in the bottom and the side. Now, you're gonna wanna grab yourself a buddy to support the weight of the exhaust while you remove this because that is the last thing that's holding this up. So now I've got a buddy at the front side of our exhaust. I'm gonna remove those last two bolts for this rearmost hanger and then we can wiggle this out of place. And now with our exhaust removed, we can pop our two isolators off of those rods. So I've got an exhaust hanger remover tool to do that. So the first thing we need to do is reinstall the two factory isolators that we removed from our stock exhaust. So for the more forward one, we'll slide the solid tab into the square hole in the frame and slide our bolt through the tab with the hole. And then for our other one, we'll just reinstall our two bolts and tighten those down. Now, for our rear isolator, we'll just throw those two bolts into our U clips. And then we can grab our 10-millimeter socket, straighten out our bracket, and tighten those down.So now we're ready to install our front pipe. We have our flange here. We have a flat side and a beveled side. The beveled side is gonna go towards the front of the pipe. So we'll slide that on and then we'll raise this up into place and reinstall our factory hardware.Next, we can tighten down the bolts on our flange. Now, the factory are gonna use a 13-millimeter socket. Our hardware has been replaced, so I'm using a 17-millimeter socket and 15-millimeter wrench.Next, we can install our muffler. So we'll take one of our 3-inch clamps and slide that on. We'll start with this facing down, slide it onto our pipe, and then twist that up into place. And then we'll come back, get our clamp into place, grab a 15-millimeter socket to tighten it down.Next, we can install our mid-pipe. So we'll take another 3-inch clamp, slide that on, get our rod into our isolator. And then we can slide our clamp into place and take our 15-millimeter socket to tighten it down. Next, we can install our over-axle pipe. Now, once we have our rods through our hangers and our pipes connected, we can pull back to get this fitted into our pipe. And now we can grab our clamp and slide that into place and tighten it down with a 15-millimeter socket. Now, lastly, we can install our tips. So we'll grab our last clamp, slide that on, get our tips in place. And then we'll grab our 15-millimeter socket and tighten down our clamp. So that'll wrap up this review and install of the Corsa Performance Xtreme Single Exhaust System with Twin Black Tips, Side Exit for your 2021 and newer 5.0L F-150, excluding the Tremor. Thank you for watching, and for all things F-150, keep it right here at americantrucks.com.
