Description. A CURT weight distribution hitch gives you stable, controlled towing for your vehicle and trailer by redistributing the weight at the coupling point and leveling the entire vehicle-trailer combination. All weight distribution hitches use an adjustable shank to mount onto the receiver hitch on your vehicle, giving you the ability to find the exact height needed for each trailer load.
This CURT replacement weight distribution shank is compatible with all CURT weight distribution hitches. It can be used to replace a damaged shank or to give your WD hitch greater flexibility in vertical adjustment. It features a standard 2" shank, multiple mounting options and a high-strength construction that is fully tested for tough jobs and harsh conditions.
The 2" horizontal shank is designed to fit any 2" x 2" trailer hitch receiver. This makes it the perfect choice for most CURT class 3 hitches, class 4 hitches or Xtra Duty class 5 hitches. The shank features rounded edges for easier insertion into the receiver tube, and it has a 5/8" diameter hole to accept a hitch pin or hitch lock for secure mounting in the receiver.
This particular weight distribution shank is 7-1/2" high by 8" long overall. Each hole in the vertical shank has a 3/4" diameter, and they are spaced 1-1/4" apart for a wide range of incremental adjustment of the WD head. With an overall height of 7-1/2", this WD shank provides a maximum rise of 7-1/8". The entire shank can also be flipped in the receiver tube to provide a maximum drop of 3-1/8".
CURT trailer hitches are engineered for tough jobs and exposure to harsh conditions. As such, this WD replacement shank is built to last. It features solid steel construction for maximum strength, and it is stringently tested for safety. It is compatible with all CURT weight distribution hitches and is limited in capacity to the spring bar weight capacity of the WD hitch.
To finish off this replacement weight distribution hitch shank, we cover it in a highly durable carbide black powder coat finish, giving it long-lasting protection against rain, road salt and rust.
Warranty. Limited lifetime warranty (one-year finish, one-year parts)

Review shared from 2-Inch Receiver Hitch Adjustable Channel Ball Mount; 6-3/4-Inch Drop (Universal; Some Adaptation May Be Required)
Curt receiver hitch 6-3/4 drop
Packaged well and seemed like a fair price for the product. Well made heavy duty came with thick retainer pins. Happy with the quality for the price.

Review shared from 2-Inch Receiver Hitch 14,000 lb. Adjustable Channel Ball Mount with Dual Ball; 6-Inch Drop (Universal; Some Adaptation May Be Required)
Yes!
I bought this hitch because I wanted something stronger than what I was using. I have been hauling between 10,000 and 13,000 lbs everyday, multiple times a day in a dump trailer. I also wanted to be able to leave the receiver locked onto the truck, and be able to remove the ball. This did exactly what I wanted it to!

Review shared from 2-Inch Receiver Hitch Cover; Black Steel (Universal; Some Adaptation May Be Required)
Keeps trailer hitch clean
So far, this cover has seen both a wet interstate and a very dirty/dusty off-road adventure and inside of my hitch has stated both dry and clean. I’ll update this review if I see rust forming over the next few months, especially during our wet winter. But it’s performing as advertised for now, seems to be well built and sturdy too.

Absolutely ruins your approach angle on the truck If you ever drive off road and you install this you will be very sorry. I pulled it off after 3 months.
