      Description

      Improve Traction. Your 2007 to 2018 Chevy Silverado was built to survive all kinds of conditions, and make it through rugged terrain. This Yukon Gear Duragrip Posi Rear Differential is designed to boost traction, so you can deal with mud, sand and snow better than ever. With this modification, you can charge forward into whatever nature has in store, feeling more confident and not getting stuck.

      Ruggedly Built. Yukon Gear has a reputation for making tough components, and this Duragrip Posi Rear Differential is no exception. All internal gears are made of forged 4320 steel, making them incredibly strong. The housing is also made of steel.

      Awesome Performance. You will see traction greatly improved with this component installed. It's designed to fit on all trucks with an 8.5-inch or 8.6-inch 30 spline axle, plus at least a 2.73 ratio. If needed down the road, it can be fully rebuilt. The clutch style positraction helps smooth out operation, even in rugged terrain.
      Installation. The installation process is challenging and can take up to four hours.

      Application. This Yukon Gear 8.5 in. & 8.6 in. Posi Differential is designed for 2007-2018 Chevy Silverados.

      Technical Note. Some 2007 and newer vehicles may need to have material removed from the backside of the case to clear the housing. It is recommended to use high grade GL-5 gear oil and Yukon LSD (Limited Slip Differential) additive for long life and smooth operation. Part number OILADD. The use of synthetic oil is allowed but may result in aggressive or noisy operation. This unit requires use of carrier bearing & race part numbers LM102949 & LM102911.
