Looks Great!
I love the look of this putco chrome tailgate handle cover! It was very simple to install and literally took no time at all. Simply clean the handle surface with the alcohol swab provided and let area dry completely. Pull the red backing strip off of the double sided tap that is already applied to the backside of the handle cover and install. Press firmly on all areas of handle cover making sure you get a good bond from the double sided tape

Shines like doubled dipped Chrome
It took me about 5 min to install. There is no problem with rear camera or covering tailgate light. It is a perfect fit if you put it on Straite. The only thing I wish it was metal under the chrome or stainless steel !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Putco tailgate handle cover
This is a plastic material made to resemble a chrome metal finish. It looks good either way but does restrict the rear camera so it just comes down to how much you use the camera.

Bad rear-view!
Got the tailgate handle cover for my 2017 Silverado LTZ. Tried finding stainless/chromed like I put on my 1997, to no avail. So I went for chromed plastic. Was going to have someone hold in place so I could check rear camera obstruction, if any. But didn’t follow my gut and figured Putco surely wouldn’t make a product that would. Well! Guess what! It does. About 10 of the cameras peripheral vision is blurred because of the cover. Believe me,it is on as correct as you can get. If I thought I could take it off and not mess up the finish on my handle from removing 3m tape glue I would. Very, very disappointed in this product. Looks pretty good. But would not recommend if you have a rear camera under the handle like my Silverado. If I could add pic of rear camera view, I would.

Tailgate Handle
I received the handle very fast. I have a F150 with a backup camera. I was concerned about viewing with the new handle. So I taped the handle in place. Next I put the truck in reverse to see the outcome. I was very dissatisfied, you get a tunnel vision of fact and you lose A lot of angle of vision. I was dissatisfied so I returned the handle back. This is not America trucks problem, it’s the manufacturer who made the handle.
