Good intake

Quick easy install. Noticeable difference in sound and response. Box doesn’t mount very well, it sits a little loose/wobbly, I feel like that should be a little better for the price. Overall not bad.

Momentum GT CAI

Easy install. Just installed yesterday. After short test drive felt a noticeable increase in acceleration and definitely sounded much better. Now, Borla exhaust is on the way!!

Makes a 6.2 sound great

Very easy installation and detailed instructions. This CAI combined with the Borla CAT back S Type, it’s like a different truck

Works as advertised

It comes together rather easily. The install video and instructions wildly undersell how easy it is to get it back into the factory grommets. And the video completely glosses over having to take a grommet off the old filter. Also if you look at the part numbers you will see that both couplers to the throttle body are gusseted. The video and print instructions would do well to be updated with part numbers.

Poor engineering

I had one until I went off road and the motor and frame moved more than this cai was designed for, the factory cai is designed for this normal flex, just ask your self how will this flex? It’s not designed to flex, the motor mounts on every vehicle are designed to flex, afe didn’t want to refund me either, the off road shop refunded me, I think they took the hit, if you don’t go off road you probably won’t have an issue, i really love the sound this gives over the stock intake, unfortunately I had to go back to the stock cold air intake, yes the factory intake on all new vehicles are cold air intakes, the only advantage this gives is no baffles and a slightly larger intake tube, I can’t believe afe is still selling this! Was it engineered in china?

AFE intake

This is my third AFE product that I have installed on my truck. They are all quality made and come with everything you need. Install was straightforward. They give you step by step instructions with all their products, and the install video on A/T is also helpful. Took maybe an hour to install and the end result looks better than the fugly oem box.

Great performance

The momentum gt is by far the best dry air intake I’ve found. After some research and YouTube comparisons this intake sold me. And impressed me every time I drive the 0-60 compared to the stock is far more quicker than expected. Worth the money and gives your engine and aggressive sound and look inside the engine bay. Satisfied with this purchase!

could not be happier

this intake is amazing. great quality and the actual air filter is huge it has so much filter area .. A+ I don't know why I waited. the sound is crazy loud I can definitely feel the difference and the truck shifts way better . buy this for your truck you will not be disappointed .. my mpg is still going up ....

Easy to install with noticeable results

To say this was an easy install is an understatement. I have limited experience under the hood as well as having sight in only one eye and I was able to quickly and easily install this kit.
