      Description. THE HIGH CLEARANCE MODEL REQUIRE'S CUTTING OF YOUR BED

      Chassis Unlimited “Octane Series” dual swing-out rear tire carrier bumper ships to your door ready to install on your truck, complete with a 3-Stage texture black powder coat. This is our high-clearance bed cut version, allowing extreme departure angles and bed protection. Bumper Ships fully assembled ready to install

      The Octane series dual swing-out bumper is our premium rear tire carrier bumper. Double latching swing-out with slam bumpers allow a vibration-free swing out and an easy open/close using our push-button latch system. A secondary latch on the swing-out spindle also allows locking in 2 positions- closed and open, so you don’t need to worry about holding your swing-outs open while lowering your tailgate. Universal ½” Slots on both swing-outs allow you to mount up to a 40” Spare tire/wheel, and all your favorite accessories. One spare tire mount is included with the purchase of the bumper.

      High Clearance bed cut version extends the bumper all the way up to the wheel well opening and includes a support arm that ties the truck's frame to the front section of the bumper supporting the weight of the vehicle- allowing you to slide over obstacles without pushing the bumper out of alignment. Requires cutting the bottom section of the factory truck bed to allow fitment of the bumper.

      This dual swing-out tire carrier is manufactured with top-of-the-line components ensuring our product will last a lifetime of adventures. USA Premium rated hinge/spindles with billet aluminum caps, rubber bump stops ensuring a slam style close with no vibration, push-button cam style release latches, ½” Pin secondary close and open stop, Includes spare tire mount with studs.

      The Octane series bumper brings an entire new style to the bumper market and offers an industry-first low-profile fitment with aggressive styling. The Octane series rear bumper is designed as a one-piece bumper, and ships as one unit ready to bolt to your vehicle. The rear bumpers also feature corner steps as well as a built-in center step for ease of access. All of Chassis Unlimited’s products are designed & manufactured in Livermore California.

      Other than the cutting of your bed, the installation is amazingly simple. Most installations are completed in a few hours or less with basic hand tools; the bumpers directly bolt onto your vehicle. Remove your factory bumper/mounts, and our product directly bolts onto your vehicle’s factory bumper mounting locations.

      This bumper can be run with or without your factory RAM tow hitch.
