Description
The LD step was Actually inspired by Jeff Carr's wife, Lynn. Hence the name "LD STEP" (Lynn's Design"). This Step will give the user easier access to the vehicle due to the wider and deeper stepping surface which extends further than our other steps. The LD Step in available in three durable finishes, and installation is a cinch with our mounting system.

This product is fairly easy to install, so far 1 month on truck is sturdy. Had to install bolts on the pinch weld backwards because they were too long for the step to seat properly. They do stand out from the truck a bit more than I was expecting. But other than that it is a good product.

Compact side steps
These side steps are sturdy and do not hold rain water because they do not stick out as far as the factory running boards.They are made in the U.S.A.of what appears to be cast aluminum.

Great Steps
Even with my own mistake of sheering a couple bolts in half and the sheet metal screws becoming stripped in the body of my truck the steps will take my full weight of about 220lbs with no problem at all. Extremely happy with my decision to buy these steps

Carr LD Steps
The Carr LD Steps (MPN# 119771) are very well made and easy to install. These steps are made for the 2009 through 2018 Ram but worked great for the 2019 RAM Classic (DS model). These sit much lower to the ground than the average nerf bars and running boards so if ground clearance is important you may want to look at something else. I really like the look of the Carr LD Step on the truck and they have made entering and exiting much easier while helping to minimize the breaking down the edge of the truck seat that you see on a lot of the Ram trucks.

REPLACEMENT FOPR BROKEN STEP
Used to replace one of four which broke due to backing into unseen log. Fit perfectly. Glad to have new hanging hardware as old bolts had rusted enough over 17 years to require cutoff tool.

Universal ?
It is truly universal. It fits if you make/fabricate/bend/have a little bit of a working knowledge to get it done. I love the steps. Only put the two front door steps on. Don’t care about rear passengers. Less parts to get ripped off.

Almost 3 years
I love these steps! They're solid and I'm short so I can easily get into my 4x4 now. I purchased the black and it's been a couple years now and sadly they've peeled which is very disappointing but no rust. I'm going to spray paint them back to black. And they do get a bit loosened and wiggle. I still would purchase them again they look great.
