Durable Die-Cast Aluminum.Carr manufactured these side steps with an extra-strength die-cast aluminum that’s strong enough to stand up to rocks and debris and light enough never to weigh your engine down.
XP3 Black Textured Coating.Your side steps lie pretty low to the ground, making them vulnerable to damage from abrasion and elemental exposure. For this reason, Carr treated these with a durable XP3 black textured powder that guards against scratches, rust, and corrosion. Additionally, this textured coating provides a rugged and aggressive look that will perfectly suit your Silverado’s appearance.

REPLACEMENT FOPR BROKEN STEP
Used to replace one of four which broke due to backing into unseen log. Fit perfectly. Glad to have new hanging hardware as old bolts had rusted enough over 17 years to require cutoff tool.

Universal ?
It is truly universal. It fits if you make/fabricate/bend/have a little bit of a working knowledge to get it done. I love the steps. Only put the two front door steps on. Don’t care about rear passengers. Less parts to get ripped off.

Almost 3 years
I love these steps! They're solid and I'm short so I can easily get into my 4x4 now. I purchased the black and it's been a couple years now and sadly they've peeled which is very disappointing but no rust. I'm going to spray paint them back to black. And they do get a bit loosened and wiggle. I still would purchase them again they look great.
